Do you have a porch swing?

We actually have two, and I love them both dearly. We have one on the front porch. Then in the back yard, we have a freestanding one that my hubby built, so we can sit in the back and look out at the mountains during the evening. The backyard one needs some work now, it's getting old, but can be fixed. There is nothing like a porch swing for soothing a tired mind.

Yes, one on both porches, front and back. We never use the front one because of the traffic. The back is so much more private where we live. It is my favorite place in the summertime to sit. We always had a swing growing up in our family, so I HAD to have one as a grown-up..lol. I hope that you enjoy many wonderful hours on your swing, I know that I do.

I do! It is my favorite spot to sit at night on those spring nights- into the warm winter night and into the fall cool nights- I love it! It is so peaceful! We had a porch swing when I was growing up- and my mom and I spent hours out there on that swing- swinging, singing, talking, and arguing at times... Oh the memories- I had to have one when I became a mom. My daughter and I sit on ours and swing all the time- She’s only 10 so we don’t have those major heart to heart talks yet- but I know where those talks will take place- We also have a great hammock that we swing in and a covered swing on the back deck! Enjoy that swing when its together- I’m sure you will make great memories on it!

We have a swing, but our front porch is really little so it wouldn't fit out there =) We have it in our back yard under some trees so we can sit out there. I love it, a few weekends ago my husband took our kids out for the day so I could have time alone and I went outside and sat in the swing and read a magazine, it was really nice!! And every now and them me and my hubby will go out there after the kids are in bed and enjoy the dark night =) And just talk...I love it!!

I have two! One on the back porch and one up by our fish pond. I love to swing and just think! It is so peaceful and relaxing! Just tonight, I was on the back porch with my little girl and we were singing songs, when a couple of deer found their way down into our backyard. We were mesmerized with them and continued to sing while they feasted on our grass. God is awesome...isn't he?
