Where do you start?

When you open MyLot web page, where do you go first. Today's hot topics? or discussions form my interest? or discussions i've started? or discussions from my friends?
I start with discussions i've responded to to see if anything new happened and the I go to discussions my friends started.
then I go to discussions i've started and if i see any comments that i like, I visit that persons profile and check out any discussions that person started.
How do you proceed?

As I don't have much time every time that I'm online (about 3 hours) I always start with discussions started by new users and most of the time I try to respond to 20 discussions to reach the 500 minimum post.

Hi,
so far I seem to start with discussions I started and respond to people who may have written something. Then I look at discussions I responded to and finally take a browse around at new discussions.
I am sure this will change, but being a new guy on the site this seems to work for me so far.

Anyway is good as long as you keep on writing. Its just interesting to check out other peoples methods.

Well I normally start in my email box actually. I have all my friends notifications turned on so I read (and usually respond) to those.
After that if I have any free time 'cause sometimes that takes a lot of time. I usually just go straight to new discussions started in my interests.
I also check out any new friends requests there maybe too.

i used to go immediately to discussions my friends started. that was when i have my discussions with less than 10 responses. now that i have reached 30 responses in one of my discussion, i immediately go to the topics i started since i'd like to know how many responded to the thread.

30 responses! Thats great. I seldom get more than 10 on any topic. I once had apost with some optic illusion that got real good response, but all my serious discussions gets ignored. Well today I've been quite busy on my discussions and you being one of the wonderfull people to keep me so busy. I still want to check out your profile as soon as I get a bit time. Thanx for being my friend.

Basically, now, I just go to how I'm feeling at the moment, because there are so many topics, that I couldn't keep up with them! I tried sticking to a routine, but I would never finish!Most of the time I just got distracted, by other topics! I do respond to my friends first though,and then whatever the whim hits me is next! there are so many discussions going on, I never get to where I was going in the first place, I love it!!

It is so true that there is such a lot going on. In the beginning before I got my rythm I was also like a child in a toyshop, rushing from the one interesting thing to the other. Even now I am most of the time so busy reading all posts that I do not get around to post! Have fun and welcome to mylot!
