The Lady's Prayer

I don't know how many of you have discovered website "Beliefnet" but it's a wonderful place with all kinds of inspirational postings and prayers..and of ALL faiths...they have a whole line of prayers for we of the wicca/pagan path. One of my favorites is a twist on the Christian, "Lord's Prayer"
THE LADY'S PRAYER
Our Mother who art all things,
Our Lady who art the moon, sun, and heavens,
Hallowed be thy name
By thy sovereignty of the sacred land,
Thy divine will be done
On Earth as it is in all realms
Give us this day our daily bread
Bless and guide us, Great Goddess
And protect us from all harm and evil
For thine is the power, beauty, and love
Forever, and a day. Ayea!

I get several things from beliefnet in my email everyday. I like to read the stories about the animals that they sometimes have. Its great that they have all different religions on there. I have to remember to go in there and change my subscriptions because when I first signed up, I believed in God and now I am not so sure.

I was on Beliefnet for years, and I've kind of drifted away from it in the past couple of years. I should go back there sometime, just to see what has changed!

That is a really lovely prayer. I think I may have to add that to my BOS so I can have access to it at all times! Thanks for posting this. I love surfing Beliefnet though. I don't remember coming across that one before but I probably skipped over reading it or something.

Very pretty prayer, I have been in belief.net before a very fascinating place to go when you want to learn something about a religious belief or custom.

I love that website. It is so inspirational and uplifting. And as you said, it doesn't single out one particular set of beliefs with its' prayers and quotes. So it is beneficial for everyone that visits. The Lady's Prayer is especially beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it hon.
