As far as I know, earnings are based on how good we make our postings here -commenting/responding/starting our own discussions. Go for quality, and not of quantity. You can also earn more by responding to other postings, and try to make your respond to less than three-lined sentences. Try to post for about 20-30 discussions a day, right before our earnings gets updated. Add photos on your response, as this will give addtional earnings too. Try to read the guidelines, for you to be familiar on their "DO's and DON'Ts" in posting here.
I post this earnings algorithm that mylot provided for us, to understand more on how we can make better ways to earn and enjoy time posting here.

Thanks raijin, I have never gone for quantity over quality and when I do respond, I only respond to those that I am sure of being able to give enough depth of topic. Yet, my earnings are still pretty stagnant. So, it's disheartening. I'll try posting photos to responses and see if that helps. Thanks!

I am not sure,but I can earn $1.08 per day though it is not everyday .
One day , I post about 50 reply without new post , I only get $0.25 too.
Your earnings is not only based on the quantity you post ,but also based on the quality you post .
and the quality is more important than quantity .
so try to imporve your quality of post and get a higher grade .

I have never heard of a daily limit. If you can post alot and good quality you should make lots =) I have made over $1 in one day so I know that is possible!! I have heard from others about them making over $4 in a day, to me that would ba hard, I wish I could make that much =) Just try to post good responses and discussions if you have anything to add or a question to ask =)

Do I have to start more discussions or do response to discussions garner more earnings ($1)? I'm more of giving my opinions so I really prefer to respond to other people's threads. $4 is pretty awesome! Could you post their tips for us all mere mortals?

as far as the FAQ on mylot goes, there is no limit on the number of post or the amount of earning you can get in a day.
The only big question mark is how mylot goes about rating posts to show that it is a quality post and not a quantity post. There are many theories on that if you do a search here in mylot. None is definite.
I have also heard some mylotters earning as much as $4 a day. That is pretty amazing. I guess it all boils down to how many people you can refer and how many topics or threads you can respond to or create in a day that counts.
