I have to go tomorrow for thyroid test and liver enzyme tests and I forgot to

ask if I can take my medications in the morning. I am suppose to fast after midnight. Also can I have my morning diet coke. Can anybody tell me if this affects the tests?

i would suggest that you refrain from ingesting anything and it mught affect your tests.fast for now and binge later.it is better to sacrifice now than be sorry later.good luck on your exams.

I think it will affect your tests, especially they have asked fast after midnight. The liver enzymes may contain traces of your medication and coke chemicals, better to avoid it till the tests

I would presume the morning diet coke would be a definate no. Normally they don't like you to have anything. I would phone them today and ask about the medications. Sometime syou can still take them other times not. My best advice would be to consult the hospital or your GP.
