PB and J- How do you like yours?

I love strawberry jam and i prefer wheat bread. I used to eat it only on white, but as I got older wheat bread was more appealing. My hubby will only eat peanut butter on bread if it is toasted . So how bout you? what kind of jam/jelly do you use? Wheat or white? Lots of peanut butter and lots of jelly? Also do you feel that you must have aglass of milk with it? Me and hubby don't.

I like mine to be creamy peanut butter on toasted wheat bread with orange marmalade jelly. A glass of milk certainly goes well with it but I don't feel I must have it. Usually I have mine with coffee. I ate a lot of PB&J as a kid when all we had was white bread. Once I tried it on wheat I could never go back. The whole thing is just to mushy and yuck for me of white now. Kind of like when people give peanut butter to an animal and it takes them for ever to get it out of their mouth, that's how I feel.

I like mine with strawberry jam but more jam than peanut butter.It really doesnt matter what type of bread.

If it is white bread then i like garlic bread and that i like with soup toasted with butter on top . its so delicious. on daily basis i prefer brown bread and i too like peanut butter a lot. in my college days i have earned money through that. i use to buy a big bottle of this peanut butter and then fill it up again in small bottles and sell it up by saying that it is homemade and use to make pocket money out of it. it was a nice time and me and my friend both use to enjoy a lot.

I only use wheat bread. White bread tastes kind of like glue to me. I don't know why, but it does, so I have always prefered wheat. I hate grape jelly, and usually eat strawberry jelly on my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I cut them right across the middle cause that is the good way to cut it LOL I don't drink milk cause of a lactose intolerance that I have. I usually drink Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi with it.

I like chunky peanut butter with strawberry jam. I love it on cinnamon raisin bread, toasted. I have to have butter spread on the toast before the jam. I usually have a cup of coffee with mine. I don't 'do' milk. I want one now. Yum...
