When you rate a topic or the user do u expect the same?

I always rate the discussions I respond to. I never rate a member negatively because everyone has a right to voice their own opinion of things. Even if they are rude to me, I will just skip over it instead of rating them in any way. I let Mylot deal with and handle those situations. I don't want to start a battle on here or anything. I sure hope other members are rating positive and not rating alot of us negative. I hope they just skip rating instead of rating us negatively.

It never came to my mind to rate the topics that I respond only some of the responses of the topic and I don't expect to be rated also. Well we wish it all be a positive one and that will be an additional point.
