I bet almost everyone finds the perennial windows explorer to be annoying more than one occasion, but why do you still continue to use it? Is it for lack of a better alternative? Well, our woes could now be over. Here's a challenge - download the free version of Xplorer2 and try it out. No, I'm not getting paid for this. Just thought to share something beneficial to myLot users.

Is it better than the IE7? I personally find IE7 a pain to use. They are trying to emulate the FF functionality of tabbed windows, but the way it is implemented, it is more painful to use than FF. Prefer to stick to FF for the moment.

Opps, my mistake as well... The File explorer works fine. There is a new one? Where can we find it? Is it free?

Thank you, but I'm actually referring to the file explorer in Windows. Guess I should have been clearer on that.

I use IE and Opera, depending on the occasion. IE is still my default browser, and for good reason...it's the de facto standard. If you get rid of IE, and you decide you want to use/access something on the web that requires IE, you're gonna find yourself out of luck. :(

Thanks for sharing but I'm actually referring to the Windows file explorer and not the INTERNET explorer :)

Oh, my mistake. And yes, I still use Windows Explorer. The only other file manager I use is 2x Explorer, which is one of several on my WinPE distro.

Cool! Do you find it more useful as compared to the normal file explorer?
