Do you forget how old you are? / myLot

I always find that up to about a week or two after my birthday, I forget that I am older and I go to tell people my age before. Does anyone else do that? Or just forget anyway?

Yeah lol. It happens to me alot too. I also tend to forget what year it is... and what day etc :D

haha, me too! I get really confused during summer holidays, I have to just guess what day it is!

I stopped remembering how old I was when I was about 25, I think it's a brain trick thing to try to keep people thinking they're younger than they are. I mean I keep forgetting how old I am, but I have two little sisters, who are more than happy to remind me! (stop it). ;P

I do occasionally forget and give the wrong age. Not all the time, and not on purpose.

I forget how old I am. I think it is selective memory. I also forget how much time has passed. What I mean is that I will perhaps hear a song from the mid 90s and forget that it has already been 10 years ....

That happens to me too. Someone asks what year a song came out and you think it was only a couple of years ago then realise it was 10 or even 20 years old!
