How would you describe your experience? If you´re not a father yet, would you like to be present when your baby was born? I had a cesarian. For that reason I was alone when my daughter was born. Please share your thoughts. No judgements made :-).

Well am answering for my other half here - he says he wouldn't have been anywhere else but in the delivery room with me - and that it was the most amazing experience of his life! For once there is not a trace of sarcasm in his voice or face when he says this and he is being totally sincere! He was also quite amazed that I was quite calm during birth espescially since there were quite a few complications - he didn't even argue about names - he said after seeing what I went through I could call our daughter whatever I liked!

It sounds so moving. I´m getting sentimental here. Thanks for sharing his thoughts here. It´s strange that no men have answered so far or isn´t it?

he wouldn't get so soppy face to face but he still gets sentimental whenever he thinks of it! One man has answered now and good for him - I think most men thinks they lose their macho image if they talk about these things ! xx

Yes, this might be true. I don´t mind if women want to answer for their husbands.

I am a woman but i will answer your question anywayz.LOL! When i gave birth to my secod child, my husband was not there by myside neither was he at the hospital. It was more than two months ago but it always goes into my head that he was not there when i needed him the most...i almost could not forgive him for not being there. So for all the men out there or the father to be..please make it a point to be there at the womans side when she gives birth because a woman could never really forget, she will appreciate it the most.

You´re welcome. If women want to answer for their husbands that´s fine. I´m sorry your husband wasn´t with you when you gave birth. Good answer. Thank you.
