My Mail mail comes a about 3'oclock everyday, I wish he would come early, sometimes I am looking for important mail and he takes a day to come. Like I was looking for the bank to send me some more checks so I could write them and pay some bill and use automated Service to pay phone bill. I just hate when the Mailman takes all day to come I was looking for these check books that finally came. I wanted to ask him why does it take him some long to come, I guess it it his schedule, do you have this problem with your Mailman? when does he come early or late? Mind always late in eveing I guess as long as he gets here but Five. Have a good day!

A mailman doesn't delivery our mail to the housse. We still pick up our mail at the post office, we have a mailbox in the post office. They gave us the option abot two years ago to put up a mailbox outside of the house so the mailman can come but we said no, because we have been having a box in the post office for so long. We usually pick up our mail around one or three, and the mail ladies starts putting out the mail around nine and ten.

Our mailperson comes between 10and 12 each day. It is very handy. Where we use to live, our mailperson came when he had time. And for God's sake don't make him mad. He would mess your mail up on purpose. Our mail was constantly messed up and we would deliver each other's mail to each other.

My mail-lady comes around 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. most usually. She used to come earlier than that but I think she must have changed her route or something. I would hate to have to wait until the end of the day to get my mail. I know alot of people get their mail later in the day. I would hate it also if I was waiting to pay or bill or something. I am so glad to not have that problem. I feel sorry for those who have to weait because I know it must be a headache sometimes especially when you are expecting something important.

I have no idea when the mail person comes. We do not have a mail box near the house. It is about 1/4 mile down the road, and we use a box office number instead. We live out in the desert, and the mail box is unsecure. I go get the junk from it once a week, and dump it all out.

My mail person usually comes between 10 and 11 am. It seems like it takes her longer when I am expecting something.lol. I live in the country now but when I lived in town, the mail came later, usually after 3pm. I find that kind of odd. You would think the town people would get their mail first.

Ours usually comes 9 and 10 am. Our mailman walks through our town, so I imagine it takes him awhile, but we are on main st so he gets here pretty early.

Snail as in "Snail Mail" - The Post Office mail is often called 'snail mail' because it is slower than email.
My mail rarely comes before 4:00 in the afternoon. The reason for the late delivery is the Post Office gives priority to business folks. Only after all the local businesses have had their mail picked up or delivered do we residents get our mail taken care of. As most folks work, the majority until after 5:00 in the afternoon, most don't mind this arrangement. Many employers and government checks are auto-deposited into banks bypassing the post office all together. I am lucky in that my income is handled in this way. Many people use online services to pay their bills, letting their banks deal with the hassle of the Post Office. Many only use the Post Office to send what can't be sent via modem. That's large packages. There the Post Office has competition. What ticks me off is the lack of drop off places for mail. I am disabled and can't work. I can't take my mail to work and smuggle it off in the office's load. The nearest post office box is several blocks away, and health prevents my walking to it. The constant rising of price on postage is another peeve. The Post Office complains no one is using their services, forgoing them for electronic transfer and email. I think slow service and high price is a clue as to why. It's not called “snail mail” for nothing!

Hi kathy. When I lived in France our mail man came around 1:00 pm. In Canada around 1:00 and 1:30 pm. No I don't have those problems with our mailman. Here in California they come everyday at 11 am. I always look forward to receive the mail and when I travel and my husband stays home I would always ask him if he checked the mail and I would be upset if he didn't. So I understand you kathy.

Mine comes around 2. It doesn't really matter since I'm at work anyway, but if I'm expecting something to arrive on a Saturday, it wastes my time sitting around waiting to sign for it.

My mailman runs anywhere between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m depending on how much mail he has to deliver for that day. My mom has both a house mailbox and a post office box. her regular mail comes to the house but her important mail and boxes she has sent to the post office she also has her stuff from the bank sent to the post office. That way she doesn't have to worry about theft. And stuff sent to the post office means you don't have to wait all day waiting for it in the mail. You have a good day too!

Mine arrives at 4pm everyday. I also wish it was earlier. Sometimes there is mail I want to take care of immediately but it is too late in the day to do much about it.

Our mail usually arrives sometime around 11 am. It depends on who is delivering it that day, though. Sometimes it comes as early as 930 or so, and other days it doesn't get here until after 1. Our mailman walks, so if we have a big package, he waits and brings all of our mail after he's done everyone else on our street, so sometimes he is later because of that.

Ours comes anywhere between 1:00 and 3:00 , we're in town and they usually start downtown area first and then their lunch so ours is after that. Now we have the same mailman he comes at that time before it was anytime in the afternoon. Our rural areas get theirs in the morning but yea I'd rather have a morning delivery.

mine's usually around 11,but rarely as late as 3. he's pretty punctual about his route. he's one of them that has a truck so it probably helps.some of them don't.
