There are several products on the market, which you can add to your bath, so what are you likely to add to yours? You have a wide choice, between Bath Salts, Bath Bombs, Essential Oils, Bath Oil, Moisturising Bath Creme, Bubble Bath, Bath Milk, Bath Cubes... all of these come in various perfumes and are a matter of personal choice. So what is your choice for a bath additive and which are your favourite scents? If you don't bath, but shower, do you use soap, shower gel, shower creme, or what is your preference here and which scents are your favourites for shower products? I've used most of the products listed, and am a particular lover of the scents of patchouli, lavender, jasmine and oriental musk.

I only shower as you already know and I use shower gel that I buy from Avon. I have tried different fragrances and try to keep the same fragrance that matches my after shave.

I used to buy Avon Night Musk, bubble bath, shower gel, talc and body spray. lol. I think they took it off and I went onto natural and herbal stuff after that. Now, I'm into mixing my own. I like to mix lavender with a little patchouli, or maybe jasmine with patchouli oil. I experiment a bit, but most of them have basic uses. Thank you for your response, Deeeky. Brightest Blessings and happy showers! :-)

I wish i had a bath! I havent got a bath in this house, and i really miss it. Hopefully soon we will be renovating our bathroom, and we are going to put in a corner bath. But when i used to have them, i loved bubble baths. Lavender was a favouorite, and so was avon skin so soft brand. I use a shower gel for shower. One of my favourites is avon's naturals mango and passionfruit. It is so refreshing. Best wishes, darkwing, and happy bathing

I used to work for Avon when I lived in Brighton. I liked the social side of it, but I used to spend hours doing my rounds because they all used to ask me in for coffee. lol. The number of silver parties I was invited to was nobody's business, either. :-) Avon sell direct now and deliver by post, so Avon ladies are gradually disappearing. They never did come around the village much anyway, and there was a time when he woman in the Post Office used to keep the books on the counter for people to order. A good idea, I thought... no walking or anything, people used to go and order there, and then pick up their order when it was delivered. What a life!

The pharapernalias of my daily bath are cold water and sandalwood soap. Some times when I have accute cold and cough I add eucalyptus oil to the hot water and bath with it.

That sounds refreshing. Here, the weather never warrants cold water! lol. In the extreme heat of our summer though, I can bathe in much cooler water. I add eucalyptus oil for colds and coughs too, in he form of Olbus oil... it clears the respiratory sysem as the essence of it rides in the steam from the bath water. Thank you for your response, my friend. Brightest Blessings.

I must admit, I am a major bath product addict. It's probably the thing I do that would be considered most feminine. =p I really like using bath bombs, bubble bath, oils, melts, salts... all depending on my mood and reason for the bath (spiritual, emotional, or physical). Feeling clean is a really big thing for me, for a variety of reasons. Right now I'm rather obsessed with products from a company called Lush. Last night I had a particularly expensive bath, with both a bath bomb from them and bubble bath. I wasn't feeling well, so I wanted an extra treat. I like a lot of different types of scents depending on my mood. Earthy scents, spicy scents, flowery scents (but heavier ones like jasmine more than lighter ones), mint, citrus... all kinds of different things. In fact, I can't really think of a bath scent I've tried that I really didn't like, unless it was just really fake smelling. If I had to pick just a couple of favorites, it would probably be jasmine and vanilla.

Awwwwwwww, I hope you're feeling much better today, Lecanis. I like bath bombs too and there's a shop quite locally sells some brilliant ones. Sometimes, I even buy the home made ones from E-Bay which are very nice, especially lavender and coco-butter. I have thought about starting to make these in the scents I prefer. The thought's still in the making though. I like most of the earthy and flowery scents, cedar included, but I almost always add a touch of patchouli. lol. Yes, jasmine is another favourite, and vanilla. Brightest Blessings.

i normally use soap first. i prefer shower gel or creme afterwards. my favourite scent would be the refreshing ones or lavender. dove is the best!!
@Darkwing (21583)

I agree, dove is a very luxurious bath additive. I either use that or something with lavender in it when it comes to bath creme, or washing gel. Other than that, I add two or three other oils, that mix well with each other and what I already have. Thank you for your response, MLGB and Brightest Blessings my friend.

Hi Honey, Oh yes I do love to add something to my bath and I used to change it around not always have the same thing in my bath, I would have it with Epson Salts some times to relieve my body when I am in pain. But I do adore putting oils, and especially the bubble bath. My favourite scents are lavender or ginger citrus which is natural. No never use soap I use natural products as I used to sell them. The same one ginger citrus is my favourite for this one as well.

Oh yes... ginger is quite soothing, as is lavender. I like to have a few bubbles too and you can also get some great bombs with essential oils added. They soften the water at the same time as scenting it. Thank you for your response, my friend, and Brightest Blessings.

I very seldom soak in the tub. When I do, I just soap myself in the tub, using the normal liquid soap I use. I don't buy though special specials though I have always contemplated trying. :P
