Is is possible to get small plants online for mother's day?

My mother does not have a lot of space for plants but loves such. I have been searching the internet for small plants like African violets or mini roses; single simple pots of plant to order online and ship to her as a mothers day gift. Can you believe I cannot find one single florist with simplicity. Everybody has these elaborate arrangements or have a teddy bear hugging two pots. My mom does not care much for stuff animals so waste of time sending her a teddy and she will only like one of a kind of plant. Are there websites with simple plants that will ship to New York?
