Were you ever stuck on a certain part in a video game?

I hate it when i get stuck and don't know what else to do! Usually when this happens to me, i quit for a while from that game and about a week later, i'll come back to it and try and figured it out. If i still can not figure it out, i'll just go online and look for help. It certainly spoils the game, but if i have to past that certain lv, i must do it. The first game I got truly stuck on was Castlevania II: Simon's Quest on the NES, I remember having to ring the konami hotline, I was about 6, and I couldn't actually figure out what the guy was saying, so I had to get my dad to speak to the guy, (my dad didn't play games so, that made things even more complicated!) I eventually completed Simon's quest, and don't have the same troubles anymore, since the internet, sites like www.gamefaqs.com have stopped that for good! I don't use walthroughs that often, but when I do, I usually feel guilty!

Who hasn't, it definitely can be quite a pain. Especially if you can't manage to figure it out at all and keep running in circles and circles. Equal like you I cheat a bit and check online as well then, it's better than not being able to get further in the game at all though.
