Hey all gamers out there, what have you got your hands on these days?? Me, I just finished Grand Theft Auto:Vice city stories, and now I'm into God of War 2, I must say I'm really enjoying it too. Especially all those brutal kills, hauahahahaha, (that's my evil laugh). Having a great time playing this one!!! So what are you playing these days???

Hey Vega83, I am playing Baldurs Gate 2 right now. It is absolutely amazing. The depth and side missions available is huge. One of my favorite RPG's. I am also making my way through The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I missed out on the N64, so I just picked up a used Gamecube and all of the Zelda games that run on that system. Wow I am super impressed and please to be playing Ocarina. I now understand why gamers say it is in the top 10 of all time! Keep mongering and have fun.

Balder's Gate games are awesome...although I must confess to liking Neverwinter Nights more.

And after reading that you are playing PS2 games, I am into Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence - Excellent. Also Capcom Classics collection 1+2. They are a great deal if you can find them used. Lots of Arcade Classics.

I tend to go in spurts when it comes to areas of interest, for example I was on a big reading kick, and then stopped to play Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories, though I am frustrated by that game at the moment. I don't play the games as well or as quickly as you do, so it takes me longer to get through them. I got on an old movie kick as well and there is a new channel that we get on direct tv, called Chiller which plays a lot of the old scary movies, as well as the old alfred hitchcock shows, and things along those lines, so I recently saw the Bad Seed, Village of the Dammned, Children of the Damned. So for me it kind of goes in spurts I spent a couple of days doing nothing but playing Vice City Stories, yet haven't played it in days, while my partner is playing Vice City Stories as well, he is switching it out with a game called Marked Men, he just finished replaying Mafia. So at times we tend to play more than one game at a time, or he does, and I tend to go back and forth from reading, movies, computer time, and the game. I spent so much time on the games, Vice City Stories and others, and reading and movies that I didn't really spend any time online this month, I think today is the first time I have been on mylot in the month of May.

yeah, I hate those hovercrafts too, they are really hard to handle. I didn't even finish any of the race missions or anything else. I just did the story missions, took over all businesses and did the missions for those businesses too, but that's about it. I did some rampages too. But the game is only like 40% so there's still a lot to be done. Those water balloons are so hard to find especially.

Well, me too, I've been doing some gaming in spurts myself. I finished vice city stories game missions pretty soon, I haven't gotten back to it now, because I was also playing God of War, but only on days when my bro-in-law was over, and then my net got disconnected and I was sort of stranded so I started need for speed:most wanted, that got me through the tough time when I couldn't be online.

I understand how that can be, I didn't realize how much I use going online until the power is out and I can't. There are some games I play online such as at www.pogo.com, and then there are some games I have on my puter. So much info is stored in saved emails, etc, not to mention phone numbers addresses, and other information that I get from online. But I can use the playstation so it is not online that brings the games for me. I am also nearly done with the story line missions of Vice City Stories, just still need quite a few of the side missions. I was way ahead in the game of my friend, but now he has caught up. May even be past me. I am stuck on a few areas, such as the Crash mission, can't find the Linerunner for the Rush mission, I keep slowly but surely working on the races though I have been avoiding the hover craft checkpoint ones, I don't like driving that thing. LOL.

Real classics. Just finished RTK3 for maybe 528th time. Tried Pirates but somehow the game won't start properly. *pout* I am onto Railroad Tycoon for the 98th time now.

At the moment I switsh between the playstation2 and the nitendo64. The game I play the most and like the best are 007 The world is not enough, Perfect dark, Gauntlet, Zelda. On the Playstation2 I enjoy GTA San Andreas, Hitman2, Sims Busting out, Lord of the rings. I really enjoy GTA the best though as there is so much you can do within the one game. Driving, shooting, and heaps more. I love it.

If you like Perfect Dark (which is awesome...Rare rule!) then you should have a go at Goldeneye 007 for the N64, on the whole this is considered one of the best, if not the best, game for the N64.

I agree! I forgot to add that one, as my brother inlaw is borrowing it at the moment, that definetly takes the cake, I can't believe I forgot to mention that one. I wish that one was a two player co op as my hubby and I like playing as a team. We did Perfect dark in co op but the Bond games were only ever one player. The Bond on Playstation2 has a co op mode and thats not to bad either. But as far as bond games go the 007 Golden Eye was the coolest.

Well, haven't played the game you're both talking about, so I'll just keep my mouth shut about that. But I gotta say this, you're so right about GTA, that is the best!!!!

Well, I just got a Nintendo ds-lite, so now I'm playing a bunch of those games in addition to teh ones I have to my Nintendo Wii. I just finished Cooking Mama ont he ds-lite and I think I am going to focus on Phoenix Wright next. I'm glad that I waited to get my system though because now I can get the used games pretty cheaply. This is especially good because I seem to be going through them rather quickly.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I'm a fast gamer too, go through games in mere days, sometimes one or two days even, so even I prefer to get the used copies, so i don't break the bank. I don't know about Nintendo games, I'm a ps2 gal myself. But I've had my eye on the Nintendo Wii for quite a while. Seems really interesting..

I like playing all kinds of games really but the one i play more than others is Soldier of Fortune 2, its a first person shooter game and i play it online for at least a few hours per day. I also enjoy strategy games such as command and conquer and age of empires and i am looking forward to playing the new command and conquer game once i get my new pc. I also love racing sims like Toca and still enjoy playing the first toca game. Sometimes also, i play rollercoaster tycoon one or two because, well, i enjoy it so much.

I had been playing Okami since Chrismas, but then my free time disappeared and when I come back to it now, I have no idea where I'm up to. So I'm putting it on hold, and planning to replay it during the summer. Recently I've started FFXII. I'm one of those players that finishes a game 3/4, and then stops playing due to lack of time, and then replays the entire thing again later in a 2 day marathon.

oh yeah, okami, I'd heard it's one of the best of 2006, but I haven't gotten around to getting it yet. I did start FFXII recently but unfortunately now my ps2 refuses to read that CD for some reason, and so I cannot play any further. I know what you mean, about getting back to a game, after a long time, I don't do that usually, but it has happened once or twice, and then you find that you don't remember the story line and the controls and you start all over again.
