this happens a lot. People request entry to your friends list and then get bored with mylot and disappear. However their account stays here so they still appear on your list

I guess they just reach some point that they feel tired of logging in and posting'responding... but I bet youll be surprise that they will be active in no time once they miss mylot. It happens to me every now and then... i FEEL TIRED But after a week or few days... I log in again...

I'm still here, but not many of my friends are posting at the moment, and I can't think of any discussions to start.

(Gulp) guilty as charged, lol. I've been away more than I'd like because my youngest daughter was working and going to college for her emt license. That meant lots of extra hours babysitting. Now that she got the license, we're working through the first weeks of her new job, which has realllly whacky hours! (24 hour shifts doing 911 calls, 16 hour shifts, and it's never the same schedule!) For me, it's more a matter of getting everything settled in, and now with spring here, well, it gets busy down on the farm here, hahaha. I'm trying to get a little more into responding again. Although, I was one of those who got gypped at DormCheck and never got the money I received before he declared he didn't have to pay anybody. So, that left a sour note for a while too. Am looking forwards now to getting back into posting and replying here though...I miss you guys!!!

It's lovely to hear from you again. Life does sometimes get in the way of being here. Good luck to your daughter and I'll look forward to you being back again when things settle down again.

At this present moment you have 46 friends in your friends list, right? I believe I’m not in the list of the inactive one lol.
Yeah, I do have many inactive friends in my friends list too. I think some might be busy, some might get tired for staying at mylot for quite some time and had taken a temporary leave for the moment. Hope they will be back soon.

I didn't realise how many friends I'd got, it seems the people I made friends with at the very start of being on MyLot are the ones that have become inactive. Maybe they have become bored or gone elsewhere but I m making new, active friends, such as you, all the time.

It’s a great pleasure to learn that you had treated me as an active friend. I hope to remain active as long as possible lol.
In my case many of my early friends who were once active had now disappeared and can’t be reactivated anymore. It’s not uncommon to find that some are one way business and receive no mutual responses.
Don’t be disappointed and try to make more friends. Surely you’ll be able to get some real friends in time to come.

Well, I have my ups and downs too and sometimes I don't feels like I have usefull things to say to respond some discussion. But once I got my energie back and this light bulb above my head on with some ideas and thoughts, I'll be back on track...

I can come up with lotsa excuses but then I just give you couple....hehehe. Well, been having problem with mylot alot. Many times, I'd been sitting for 2 hours behind computers tying and trying to post and respond some of my friends discussion and only 2 made it. Don't know why, it stuck after I hit the post response button and then just gone....so I had to type them all over again....hmpfhh....
But anyway, I'm still here....just take some time...

Glad to know you're still here, I think we all have problems with MyLot at times. My daughters keep telling me to write the answers on notepad then copy and paste so I don't have to start all over again but, being a croc of very little brain, I forget.

I have read several discussions related to this matter. And I am quite alarmed at this development. Aside from the fact that the pay rates have been low lately, some or several of the myLotters have decided to visit other websites or forums and found they are happier there and decided to stay there.
It's rather sad. I have been with myLot for some time now, and I feel that our population is decreasing or on a 'stagnant' level. I hope some of them are only busy nowadays, that they can't find time to log on to myLot, and not being able to retire from the routine chores they have. I really hope they come back real soon.

I think you may be right. I thought the earnings seem to have gone down recently. I hope some of the members will come back as there were many who are not here any more whose discussions were always interesting ot fun.

I don't know about you bu a number of people on my list have gone inactive as well. Their pages are still there, and their discussions are still receiving responses, but they are gone. One did come back, after having suffered computer trouble, but I have no idea what is going on with the rest. None of them seemed the type that were getting lots ofposts deleted or anything like that, but maybe something like that did happen and they got discouraged.

Yes, my friends were the same, they posted good questions and answers and nothing untoward, maybe they got bored but I know I'm missing what they posted. Maybe it's just a case of being only so many things you can ask.

Thank you for your response and welcome to my friends list. Although you have not been on the list very long and I have not answered many discussions you started the ones I have seen have been good quality and thought provoking. Keep up the good work.
