...but feel free to reply even you are woman. What do you men feel towards a woman when you see that she is drunk? Does it turn you off? Does it make you feel annoyed at her? Or does that not affect you at all?

yes i find drunk women very unattractive and unladylike. but actually, i find anyone who drinks until they are irresponsible in their behaviour very socially unjust and corrupt. I have almost gotten into fights with friends because they were drunk and they were really annoying.

personally, i get terribly annoyed, most especially if that woman is a friend. i have nothing against drinking. but getting drunk is a different story. i'm very much used to being a big brother to all my female friends. and i feel responsible for all their actions. and if i see a drunk female friend, i feel responsible for letting that happen.

Well Augustta! Your Question has a sensitive part which is related with humanity too! I am sure that I will see the woman as a drunk person, Just like a drunk man! I have learned that when it comes to justice, rights, and virtual comparision as well as value based analysis or even opinion providing, then one should be without gender bias!

Hmmmm, when I was younger I would have said that sounds like someone I should get to know better, but know that I'm older and married, I really dont care to be around anybody thats drunk. Male or female. These days I would just try to make sure that she can get home safe. Terry

See Agusta, this depends upon the culture of a people. In India women don't usually drink. Not that no woman in India drinks. Ofcourse there are women who drink, in India too. But generally speaking in India women don't drink. Therefore if I find a lady drunk it is sure for her to turn me off. I cannot swallow it. I am sorry to say , I am sure to hate her. Thank you.

drunk - women getting drunk
Hello, augustta, honestly i have to say mo matter it is men or women, it will be disgusting when they get drunk at the street, puking at the garbage bins, swearing to the pedstrians or even fighting with other people,if i were a guy and saw a woman getting drunk on the street,i thought i would be turned off and i would wonder what kind of woman she is or is she just being unhappy. It must leave me a bad impression on her. How about you,do you like drinking?

Why does it always follow that being drunk means a loss of self-control? Sure, booze does a lot of this (diminished sense of self-control) to our cognitive capacities and may cause temporary problems in how we judge things. But the thing to note here is that bring drunk does not mean a total lack of self-control. On a personal level, my control on what to do next after getting tipsy (and eventually, drunk) I believe is just enough to know what to do next when I get there.

I never had to face a situation like this, but ... If it was in a public place, like a bar or resturant, it would be a temptation to a lot of guys there. especially if she was as good looking as mylot member, Augustta. The thing to do is get one of her friends particularly, another woman, to help me get her to her home.

i have to add my 2 cents too ;-) no matter if men or women, drunk people i dont like. sometimes i feel sorry for them because they loose all pride and start silly things who they regret when they are sober. and the bad thing is they are always arguing about something

They lose all pride? Start silly things they'd regret once they're sober? Always arguing about something? I'm sorry but with all due respect, but I beg to differ here. I have a lot of my friends (and I myself) have already experienced being drunk and it's very, very rare for us to lose our pride, start silly things, and argue about something. Most of the time, people in our group who gets drunk just doze off in a corner. The bottomline is that drunk people can still have a subconscious amount of control to know what next to do (resting, perhaps).

Wow, that's so crazy that you ask, because just lastnight 34Momma went over to her familys house to play cards. When she came home, she was a mess. So drunk she fell a sleep with her clothes on, but that was not what really pissed me off, it's the fact the she fell a sleep on my side of the bed. Now that's something I can't deal with, she even had my pillow:-(

If they are able to have enough sense to take care of themselves when drunk, then it may be OK. But, if they are so much out that they do not know what is going on, then there is a possibility that some people would take advantage of the situation. It depends on the culture/ crowd to which one belongs to but I think men and women have different yardsticks for a drunk woman and a drunk man in most of the cultures.

I don't drink myself, and I don't like drunk people generaly - be they men or women. As in smoking, it is hard for me to understand why people are getting drunk or smoke. A drunk woman would surly turn me off, because I like to be with a woman that talks to me coherently. My wife doesn't drink also, which is great! We talk a lot and these talks are part of my attraction to her.

To be honest I don't like drunken women , but for some people I know drunken women are a big chance to take advantage on , I don't share they way of thinking . I feel annoyed when I see a drunk women especially if I know her , best thing to do is help them get some rest and take care of them until they can manage to go home. One time one of my class mates got drunk at some school party she started to dance on the table ...we had to take care of her and to drive her home. As some of you said I'm not saying "No drinking " I'm just saying that you have to be reasonable not to drink to much to get into big trouble or coma. I'm very glad because I don't have drinking problems and I can always be a "guardian angel" at my friends parties :))

such a question great my friend.\ hi i think if i come across such a situation i would of course try to help her someway or the other but i don't think most men will be willing to do such things because they have their own future effects. i think so. men as you women think are not always like men ok.

Upon reading this discussion you opened up, i remember way back five years before, i've been flirting with a girl, my college-mate, and you know what, the more that she gets drunked, and so was I, the more the flirting we do. It's been definitely different agains the usual. So, in that sense, i could say, its fun and it doesnt turn me off. BUT! Out of the blue, If I dont know what woman drunked, she has nothing to do with me, say, i met her on the streets, oh well, that could still possibly turn me down!

Nice discusiion by the way in india a murderer is better than a drunk woman drunk men are ...well men! not that no woman ever drinks here at all there are lot of women who do, but i think your question was DRUNK and not women drinking :) but being drunk weather male or female is very irresponsible as it leads to so many unpleasant things, but somehow even from a woman's point of view a drunk woman seems more off-putting than a drunk man ...maybe b'cos by now we are so used to seeing so many men drunk :)

I don't care to be around anyone who is drunk. Whether it be male or female I find it as a lack of self control. If the person had enough self control they woould have stopped before they had drank to much. I don't drink and I don't want to be around anyone that can't excert a little self control to just drink a little so that they can remain sober.

There is a funny side of it if a Woman is Drunk well she does really make a show of her self i love to tease them the next day ,Tricking them to believing they Over stepped there mark by Stripping out in Public or saying they puked up by a good friend ,when they drunk they can be an emmbarassment but you got to live with it Augusta Do you Drink or do you get drunk could this be a question as you found your self drunk before and really wondered what your man really thought ???
