As a friend we are involved predominently by our minds. where as with Boy/girlfriends it is not only our mind bur our bodies also commited.

a friend is like anyone that we know, we play with them , we eat food with them, we do things with friends, we share story with them..
a boyfriend/girlfriend is like a really special friend, but not as a friend, as a lover, we love them like he/she are our soulmate, but we love our friends too, but just as a friend, not as a lover..and boyfriend/girlfriend usually doesn't last long.
but a friend last forever..
do you understand?

i have to say that if u put ur friendships above a relationship,then the relationship won't last because of that.ur relationship should be a friendship as well.granted,early on in dating u should not ditch ur friends all the time,but as a relationship does progress,ur relationship does become more of a priority,more so when u also get married and have children of your own.my friends are important to me,but my partner is my best friend and my life mate.

they say boyfriend/girlfriend come and go, but friends are forever..i think both are equally important. when you are in a relationship, try to make time for both parties, never neglect them :)

hmmnnn... im not sure if i have a right to answer this question.. i dnt have a boyfriend but i did had flings and almost-boyfriend before. nonetheless, i have to say, friends are more important especially when these friends have already been tested by every kind of storm, earthquakes, tsunamis, name it. some people say true love is hard to find but then i believe that if you are really loved by your partner, he/she can accept your friends whatever they are and no matter how hard they make him feel. of course they are your friends they just want to make sure you are being perfectly treated and loved. ;D
