What IS going on????

First I log into myLot and notice that discussions I resolved weeks ago have all reappeared and I need to give them best response again. Then as I'm looking through them I notice that the original replies that I gave best response to have disappeared completely. Then when I check this out I discover that 3 of my friends have more or less been "erased" from myLot!! They are still here but their number of posts have gone down to just 3 or 4 and when I look at their profiles their discussions started and replied to have been wiped out! Sheesh - I wondered why the number after my name kept going down instead of up. So ... I've emailed myLot to ask what the heck is going on but as it's unlikely I'll get an answer from them has anyone any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else? I should also add none of the responses they left to any of my discussions violated myLots rules.

Been encountering a lot of these comments and complaints lately. Do you think mylot's server's getting overloaded. I hope we get words from the administration soon to apeace everybody. I haven't experienced any of these yet.

I guess it could of course just be a "glitch" in their system but I just think it would be helpful if they communicated that information to everyone.

i am happy to know that there are still some of us around here who has not encountered these problems. i hope that you will forever be spared from these undesirable experiences. there is a possibility that mylot's server is getting overloaded because of our increasing numbers and the work that we all do around here everyday.

Exact same thing happened to me about a week ago and i created a topic with the exact same name as this one lol. My earnings dropped and my number of posts fell by about twenty. I also had best response ratings taken back after awarding them, very strange. Maybe it was because they were sorting out the payments for that month im not sure but there is not a lot we can do about it.

Eeeek! Sorry - I didn't see your discussion! Ah well - I guess myLot will have an excuse for deleting mine then :( I just can't think of a valid reason for them doing it. I mean they have literally deleted everything these people have done - I'm talking hundreds of responses etc. I would go nuts if that happened to me!

Oh I know I'm sure there will be all sorts of problems caused by it - so far I seem ok but don't want to speak too soon! I wish myLot would explain what they're doing because it's just causing a lot of tension and bad feeling on here. I think a lot of the time it's a mistake like it was with the guy in the previous response but that's not much consolation when hundreds of posts disappear for no apparent reason.

i am suffering from this thing everyday. there were something like 5 days when they did that minuses rampage, it proved too bad for me. i lost more than a thousand points by then. normally, i lose more than 10 points each day. it makes me feel elated if i don't get any minus points when i get to the computer on a new day. i have also noticed that my resolved discussions have resurfaced. then i resolve them again. then they resurface again. i am at a loss now as to how to deal with it. i do not want to have more than 5 unresolved discussions each time. but now, they are appearing there in pages. as for the minuses that i got from my points, mylot admin has advised me to read the guidelines, master it and stay away from discussions which are not allowed in here. however, no matter how much i try to be able to stick to good discussions, i still get minuses each day. it seems to me that there are some discussions which float which are not originals from the posters. this is the thing that we cannot discern. so, it is only a matter of course now that we encounter deductions from time to time. dishonest mylotters who copy discussions from others has caused this to be happening day in and day out.

Wow - if I'd lost a thousand points I would be going nuts! That's a lot to lose. That response from myLot would annoy me though because I really don't often reply to dodgy discussions. To be honest most of the time I'm responding to my friends discussions and I'm selective about who is on my friends list - none of them are cheaters or spammers or anything like that. Some can be fairly controversial but that's why they're on my friends list. That's what my friends are like in "real life" too LOL!

Yeah. I got knocked from 300+ down to 2. No explanation, no apology. I emailed myLot staff about it and they said 'yeah, a few people have complained about this'. They asked me a few questions about when I first noticed it, and since then: nothing. They've stopped responding to my emails. At least I didn't lose my earnings! But I think I'm just gonna get enough for a payout and quit. Things are going downhill fast around here. Maybe I'll see you on facebook! :D

Hey you were one of the people I was talking about!! In fact it was you that I first noticed because a lot of the best responses were yours and I couldn't find your posts again on my discussions. I thought maybe you'd closed your account. That's really crappy that they haven't responded to you about it. I've seen a few other people on here since I posted this saying the same thing has happened to them with no explanation. There was nothing wrong with any of your discussions that I saw and yet others on here get away with almost anything. Yeah it's going downhill fast! What's facebook?

www.facebook.com Its just a site where you post a bio of yourself and look for people you know who are also members. Its amazing how many people from old jobs, university, even grade school that I've found on that site. Its a blast catching up with friends I thought I'd never her from again.

Maybe.....long shot in the dark here.... Maybe they broke the rules by being their own referral or having two accounts on the one pc or soemthing like that. I always wonder why people don't make themselves therir own referral and then they would earn 100% plus 25%

Yes it could be something like that I suppose although you would think myLot would stop their account completely for that wouldn't you - not just leave them with two measly points. LOL maybe they think that's more annoying for them!

Maybe they came on and done two measly posts and then signed under themselves or something like that. I don't know. It's just the strange myLot world where people going missing for no reason and history is erased without any warning. I just hope I am not next.

That is a really horrible problem. I'm sorry that I can't help you with this too much because I don't pay much attention to the number after my name or really go back and look at my discussions after I select the best response (since you can't change it as far as I know). I know that a lot of discussions get deleted at the end of each pay period for being duplicates and stuff like that just as MyLot is clearing up some server space. I also know of a few people whose accounts have been deleted for copy and pasting responses that others have given or discussions that others have started.

I'm usually the same but I noticed it because my unresolved discussions (which was empty a week ago!) is now full again and that's what got me looking. I normally don't pay that much attention to the number after my name either but I was "talking" about in a post the other day and that's what made me notice it dropping. Oh well - we'll see if myLot has any explanation!
