When I look at the sky and see all those clouds I try to see what shapes I see in those clouds. Do you do this too! I have seen teddy bears and puppies. I think it is fun and it also feels like you are moving with the clouds.

i usually do this watching the sky ... when its cloudy and cool to hang around the backyard. it's cool to the eyes and i enjoy it along with my hubby. sometimes we see big ships or boat, a hat, cows. and sometimes at night we would go out at our deck and watch the moon and stars. we have a very nice telescope.

When I was a kid & there were few or no fire ants I used to lay in the grass & look at the shapes in the clouds. Later, I would watch the clouds line up & "march" in lines across the sky while I was at horse back riding. I still enjoy watching them line up. It's fun when you can see them start as thick lines, then turn into big puff & finally dwindle away. Last year I was getting a root canal & I sat watching the clouds while waiting to get numb & stuff, and a bird, hawk or buzzard flying in & out of the window view. I used to like to see if the plane would fly into the cloud "castles" when I was a kid, but now they feel like "sleeping policemen!" I remember flying back from NJ in 1985 & I had a very short hop between San Antonio & Austin & the plane really didn't get above the clouds so the pilot dodged the clouds up to Austin.

When I stare into the sky at all the passing clouds I see a work of Gods beauty. The way the wind shifts them into different shapes, forms, and pictures so to say. It is Gods easle of art in my eyes. It's a form of getting serenity for me on a stressful day/evening. I can lay for hours staring at clouds in the sky. My wife thinks I'm crazy at times as I'll leave to pick her up 2 hours early or more and it's just a 15 minute drive. I sometimes park in a nearby city park watching the clouds shape shift etc. Listening to the birds and other sounds of nature. It's my way of getting close to my creator I guess. Thanks. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Oh I used to do that! It was so fun and yeah it does make you feel like you are floating in the air. When my daughter was younger we would go outside and lay in the grass and watch the clouds she would pointed out and said there's a unicorn adn I said what and where I looked up wow it was beautiful thing I have ever seen it was a unicorn, then we say many different things.

When I watch the clouds and try making sense of them I can imagine the weirdest and cutest things, from dragons, to puppies, to strange faces, and a lot of things, my mind can just find the strangest associations sometimes, once I thought it looked like to dogs playing sports... My imagination can have no limits sometimes. I can see nice things but sometimes especially if I'm down I can also imagine more scary things...

I do not look at skies more often except for when its raining as rain inspire me alot. Last year in summer we went to a very high place in our region, We could see the clouds floating in front of our eyes. It was indeed a great scene, never did I stop looking at skies for a moment then. It was romantic, it was cool, it was eye-catching. Oh I guess i am off-topic, but i just couldn't resist sharing that great moment we had there. Happy Discussions.
