My two daughters live with me and stay with there mother when i work at night and she has a one bedroom apartment. She has her boyfriend sleep over at times and I was wondering if it is legal for her boyfriend to stay in her one bedroom apartment overnight.

Hello, Below is aURL you can paste into your browser address window. It will take you to a website listing attorneys in New Jersey. Try to find one that specilaizes in child support law and they can probably answer your question. Let me know if you try this. Good luck getting the situation fixed. http://findlawyer.web.aplus.net/New-Jersey.html

Do they stay with their mother every night, or is this ust an occasional thing? If she does not have the children all of the time she probably falls into a loop hole. Is the problem here the one bedroom or the fact that the boyfriend stays over? Have you tried talking to their mother? I don't think you have a legal leg to stand on regarding keeping the boyfriend out of the house while your kids are there, but try to talk to the mother first because you may be able to reach some kind of agreement with her.

Really dont think it is legal. Where do they live city, country. If it is in the US she could really be looking at problems with the social service department if they get a hold of the information. Due that there are children and her in a one bedroom apartment. And for goodness sack just the moral thing about having a bf overnight with children in the same room.... I hope you can talk with her and get her to listen and help her find something more suitable before she has children taken away. Good luck
