my ex is in arrears of $600 and the srs will not do anything about it. The new house bill 2706 states that if in arrears of $500 or more driving privileges will be taken away

Another thought. I think they can get an occupational license so that they can go to work but no where else. I'm not positive about this but it makes sense.

Hello, That is a more effective law than we have in Washington State. Here, I think they don't take action until the parent is more than 3 months behind. It's hard on the kids, don't you think?

I think that is a great law, but if you are $500 in arrears and they take away your driving priviledges how the heck are you suppose to get to work to be able to pay what you owe? As of right now, does it look like the bill is going ot pass? You said that SRS will not touch your case. How much money does he need to owe before they will take on your case? Have you thought about getting a pro-bono fmaily law lawyer and taking him to family court to enforce the child support?
