I belive that if all the students should have to wear uniforms then the teachers should have to wear them to!!

i think it can be a saaree or a chudidhar.. but i think the dress code is not that which counts it is the way the teacher moves with the children and how does she teach them the studies along with the basic principles and discipline for life

Eventhough a teacher teach them the studies along with the basic principles and discipline for life.... Students will accept them only if teachers live by priciples and discipline..... so dressing code is important for teachers

I was teaching 15 yrs ago and I always wore either a dress, skirt, or dress pants. I dressed up nicely. Today I go into the schools with my kids and the teachers are wearing jeans and shorts and tshirts! I think that they should dress better to gain some respect from the kids.

I believe they should be restricted to a tough dress code like students are. They should be forced to use uniforms. That way, if there was someone posing as a teacher in a school, students would know it was an imposter because he wouldn't have the uniform on.

they have to wear uniform skirt and blouse, but the skirt must be very short.its very nice to see to teachers wearing school unifor.

As per my views....the best dress for teachers in school is saree followed by suits. This is to prevent vulgarity among students and keep the school environment clean.
The restictions shoild be laid on the western dresses or even on suits and sarees that are meant for exposure.

you are very right teachers are role models not only for students but also for society . so there dress should be formal and a proper dress code should be there for teachers so as to bring harmony. at my place there is no dress code for teachers as such in most of the schools.
