Do women on Mylot get more responses on their started discussions as compared to men?
I have seen many women getting so much responses close to 50+ on just a simple topic. If the same topic is started by a man, he doesn't get responses more than 10
Do you agree or disagree ?
If disagree then please give reasons ?

I dont know about others.. I am getting good response from my friends and other members of mylot for my discussion..
I am unable to compare with others...

I have not noticed any such disparity in answering...maybe the men have to get more friends to answer their questions, that does make a difference you know.
The first place I head to is my friends discussions, that is where i always start answering my questions. Of course, is the content is sports related I have little or nothing to say.

It just came in my mind when I see the same topic on my friend started and she was female but I started it before she did and she got more replies than I do. Don't you think girls are not that much attracted to guys. They sure have some attitude while guys just slip around lol .... all guys in here no hard feelings plz because I don't want blue eyes... lol

i never think when i respond that it was started from a man or woman , i only care with what written in the thread and do i have a respond or not , i think the mind is same whether a man or a woman , i prefer to call it a human thread .

I don't think the gender is of any importance here on myLot. First of all, not everyone having a woman's picture as an avatar is a woman... many are men.
Second of all I can't imagine someone checking every profile page to see if the person that started the discussion is male or female and then decide weather to respond or not...

I would say its true. May be because women are more expressive than guys, they are more creative. They can say same thing in 100 different ways in short span of time. But I have no answers to your claim that when you started a same topic before some female did you have not had good response. Other thing which I have noticed in this regard is that women reply more to topics started by female users. Its understandable and make sense too unlike we guys fighting each other most of the time. My observations are based on 2/3 days experience here on myLot, I could be wrong. Happy discussions dear Ashar.
