I just changed my old cloud avatar, though I liked it very much. I wanted to put in something more personal. This is the picture of my pet friend, 'oriental magpie robin' who has nested on his own will in a big garden plant near my room. He has been staying there for two years, and he had a mate first, but seems to have lost her somehow. I was sad about his single status for a while, but am relieved now, after reading that oriental magpie robins are seen in pairs and solitarily and get along well with other bird groups. He is pretty close to me. He sings for me in the evening before saying good night, and never fails to impress me with some tricks every day. I wake up to his sweet song in the morning. he can sing in three different ways, and put in a lot of feeling to his songs if he wants. I hope this says something about me here. Please do let me know what you think about my idea of this new avatar.

You friend is beautiful. You have written very well about him. I could see him as he sings to you and imagine the tricks that he would do. Some years ago I had a magpie for a friend He seemed to have been hand raised. He was terrorizing the neighbor hood by going to the trailer houses and knocking on the air conditioners making a very loud rat-tat noise. He started coming to my door to get fed. My neighbor didn’t like him because he left little black and white presents at her door. So I had to stop feeding him. I for one like your avatar

Thanks for the compliment. My friend leaves is little black and white gifts under the tree as if the tree will grow stronger due to that :), and I guess that's his great contribution towards environmental conservation.

It is a good way to help the tree keep growing. My neighbor didn't like those gifts in front of her door. I don't blame her.

I can understand your friend. I won't like such a thing on my door, and will give my OMR a beating (hehehehehe) if he does something like that!

I like the new avatar and I think it is great that he has stayed with you for so long. We once had a tiny squirrel in our yard. We saw him every spring. All spring, summer and fall he colletcted acorns for the winter hibernation. Each spring he would reappear. He was smaller than the rest of the squirrels so he was easy to spot each year. My kids named him Chubba. We moved away though and I miss seeing Chubba each spring.

We have a lot of squirrels around too. They are everywhere, actually. I take their pictures very often. I simply love to watch them, they are simply cute!

Your new avatar is simple great, and I love the story behind it. The freidnship that develops between humans and birds, especially in conditions where the latter are not in captivity is the greatest sign of love one can attain in this world. I hope both of you enjoy this friendship and learn more from it each day as well. My specail regards to you and your friend.

That is a very beautiful avator. I love birds and it is nice that he has become your friend. I think birds singing make a place nice. Thanks for calling attention to your change of avator. I like to look at the different ones and see the difference in people by just looking at their avator.

Thanks for the message. yes, I love to listen to birds' music, and that is why I love staying at my village house. I agree with you that avatars convey a lot about us here, and I like your avatar which gives me a good idea about you.
