Whoa!CHIZ ESCUDERO is on the TOP!!!

This came as a surprise for me.. But the recent counting which is still ongoing shows that Chiz Escudero is currently on the top...he is from Ginuine Opposition and most of the GO candidates lands inside the magic 12. Im happy that Chiz is on the first place. What about you guyz?

Chiz is okay, compared to some other candidates. But I did not vote for him for being an opposition candidate. I voted for him because I think he might be able to contribute to the government. My Senatorial list is composed of people from both the Administration and the Opposition, people who I think would best serve the country. It was slim pickings for me. I only voted for 10 people. I cannot think anymore of anybody I could place in my 11th and 12th spot.
What I hated about the campaign of the GO is that they did not really have a real "platform". What they promoted was to fight the Administration. What I wanted to see was concrete platforms, like say improving Education, improving Health Care, improving the Economy. Come to think of it, neither camp really had a concrete platform. I hope that eventually, people campaigning for government positions would think of ways of improving their area of jurisdiction and present these to the people even before they got elected. This way, people could better judge who to vote for.

Let me make myself clear and reword my 2nd and 3rd statements lest I be misunderstood. I voted for Chiz not because he was an opposition candidate but because I think he might be able to contribute to the government.

yes they have focused more on introducing themselves as dancers.LOL! Both camps have been throwing accusations against each other and forgot to present solid platforms and progpagandas for the people to evaluate..times have really changed due to the influence of tv and media and how they have fooled the people making us very unintelligent.

just an update..based on the exit poll thats done by ABS_CBN and Pulse Asia...he is currently second place next to Loren Legarda.

Hi andak, just dropping by to let you know that I am not keen on following the politics happenstance here in our country. I have a mix nationality and haven't the privilege to vote. I do hope that whoever emerged as the winner in all government seats will be able to put to good use what they have promised to the Filipino people.

im SO happy that chiz escudero is leading! lately however, they are switching places with loren legarda. but you know, as long as the senatorial candidates of the GO are in, i am happy. i am really fed up with GMA's administration and she has really brought a lot of bad things in the country, and the number one sin that she committed to this country was her cheating! grr!! i support GO with all my heart especially chiz escudero! :) GO GO GO!!!
