My overseas friend sent a birthday present and it arrived 17 days early (thanks's for the maths Annie). So I text her to tell her it arrived and that I wouldn't open it until the day. She texted back and said open it now, I'll send you another one. Can you believe that.

That is very generous. Sounds like a very nice friend. I guess if you decide not to open we will all have to suffer in anticipation. LOL

This is the first time that i am hearing that sort of thing, and i can tell you only one thing, i like this friend of yours. Can i also meet her. Lol.
She sure sounds like a wonderful person, i was surprised when i read her response, but then again i am not surprised that you have this person as your friend:)

You are very lucky to have a friend like this! I have been overseas for the last couple of years and am yet to receive a birthday present from anyone outside of where I am based!! It seems that she has just as much excitement for your birthday as you would have and that is great! Just be sure to reciprocate the kindness and the generosity! Traits like this are rare these days in my opinion......

I'm guessing that your birthday falls on the first of June.Anyway advanced Birthday wishes and I'm sure that your lucky to have that friend.
Some people are just so lucky that everything just falls into place for them.lol.My sister too has an overseas friend who stays in UK.
