here in singapore, our country is multi-racial and multi-cultural, but it is pretty standrad for what one can find for lunch. rice or noodles with side dishes! this could range from anything like fishball noodles, to hainanese chicken rice, and spicy chicken curries and a maly dish of coconut rice with chicken and fish called nasi Lemak. come to singapore one day and try these wonderful dishes!

I would really go to singapore, when I got rich. I think I'll like your culture there. I like to see the merlion & dragon statues and the junk boats there.

Hey in our country we eat rice,cereals,vegetable,spices for lunch.
We are Nepalese(country Nepal) So most of us eat rice or sometime Bread("Roti")..
What do you eat for lunch???

I'm from the Philippines and we also eat rice with viand for lunch. We have a big variety of viands here in the philippines. And they made it tasty. I know Roti, it's the bread with a hard crust. It has buttery taste inside. am I right? I have tried it at a bread store at a mall here. It was great and aromatic.

That depends what I can buy at the mini-market. Usually noodles and some vegetables. Sometimes, I eat out with friends. However, I prefer vegetable sandwiches and wash down with a glass of cold fruit juice.

I usually cook something very basic and easy to eat so that me and my toddler can eat the same food, no need for me to cook seperately for her so that food is usually rice with some combination of soup or veggies and pretty bland !

i usually eat a rice and a viand for lunch but if its nit available then id rather to have a sandwich of hotdog or a shark's fin would be fine..

i live in india.....people over here have rice and curry at noon...but people in the north have roti and chapathi ....
eating leftovers of the previous day is obviously dere...
nutrition value of the fud gets max preference in this country..

We also eat rice here in the Philippines. We also have curry, but I think India's curry is more spicier. Thanks for the response. I will try some india curry in the future. :)

for Asians we love to have rice for lunch with either pork , beef or chicken viand with vegetables as the side dish as well. or we can stand also eating noodles or pasta as the meal already with either bread or saltine.

well, the lunch that i ate today consisted of:
steam fried veggies with minimal pork slices
rice
water
it may sound like a simple dish/meal but its really healthy and i enjoyed it. :) bon appetite!
