I am not a gardener at all. I have never had a yard to speak of. I have had yards before but I have never been able to hire someone to keep them up or I have never been able to keep them up. Now I live in a home that has a nice patio and I have a nice place to put potted plants. I grew some bulbs. The informal names of these flowers are called naked ladies. I have had the bulbs for three years. The first year they bloomed and now this year. I thought I would show you the pictures.

Oh the flowers are pretty. I love to see pretty flowers. I just recently planted a bunch of petunias on my back porch and around my fish pond. They are so pretty.

I would love to have a fish pond. One of these days I will have one. I have a fountain but my husband will not let me run it, because of the electcity. One of these days I will get a solar powered pump for my fountain then I can use it without paying PG&E. My daughter's in-laws have a large flower pot they put a pump in and have one coy fish in it. They keep the pump running all the time. I was the fish on mothers day for the first time. By having it is the pot it is so deep you cannot see the fish unless he comes up to eat.

I love my fish pond, but it is a lot of work. Weeds grow up all the time, and we have to clean the filter on the pump all the time. But last year our fish (goldfish) had babies and we have enjoyed them so much and seeing them grow.

Front Flower Bed - This is a beautiful comes June and July. Lots of vibrancy and odors in the air. The butterflies love the Lilys
Just plant house plants all year then if not outdoors. They are still beautiful to look at and smell and take care of. Me I've many many different flowers etc growing. My Astilibes I planted last week are starting to get their stalks of flowers. Will be posting many photos of those and especially my Asiatic Lilys once they've all opened up. Thanks for the photo. I rated it and left a comment also on the picture. Attatched is the area in front of my house. The tall ones against the lattice are about 45 or 50 Asiatic Lilys. Enjoy your flowers also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

They are lovely! Is that a type of gladiola? I have never heard the term Naked Ladies. They certainly look like they are growing well for you!

Those flowers are beautiful thank you for sharing the pictures. I have recently planted some flowers. Although I don't have a green thumb. So I'm not really sure how they are going to turn out.

Those are beautiful! I'm getting ready to be an amateur gardener as well because I'm about to move into the first home of my own to ever have a backyard where I can plant flowers. Thanks for sharing yours!
