Beauty or Personality?

i got into a debate with my best friend today regarding the subject of beauty!.He believes that its personality that counts and people soon outgrow the physical side but i disagree b'cos no one is attracted to an ugly person no matter how good their manners maybe or impressive their CV or qualifications.Its wonderful to believe that beauty is only skin deep but lets face it we're attracted to that more then anything else in a person!.As a single man i have to admit that i'd approach a woman if physically attracted to her more then if she had great wisdom!.Same applies to men that guys like David Beckham will make it big b'cos their looks sell so why pretend otherwise???

true, i agree ... but doesnt mean that people have to be shallow enough to stick around with a beautiful person even if there ugly in the inside ... or to not stick around to a not so attractive person even if they're beautiful on the inside ... sometimes taking the time to get to know someone who may not be the best looking can make them seem like the most beautiful person from the inside out
