I saw many questions here on mylot. What really surprised me, some people could create extremely smart and funny responds to simple questions. What it takes to turn simple topic into magic answer?

Perhaps sometimes its just the right moment at the right discussion. There are times when I would look at a great discussion but don't have an inspiration to write anything. There will also be times when a simple question can lead me to write a long long post :)

I think the answer to that question is folded in our identification and life experience relating to the topic that is posted. People that usually have their quality, or 'smarter' responses, are people that already experienced or thought about the issue long before it was posted, Till it got to the stage that they had a special process with them self about it, and we hear the conclusion answer or response.

It takes a lot of creativity, and usually a good sense of humor. Sometimes I can react in this way, but not as often as I would like.

It requires sharp wit, humour, intelligence, patience and experience to post a funny response. I give you a small exmaple..in one of discussions I had asked - Girls are more talktive or boys? I received many responses. But the most funny and witty reply was - "Even God cannot deny that". I appreciated the respondent's wit.

Yes, You are absolutely right! There cannot be any bad Question....only thing required is how intelligent is the reader who reads and understands the Question...and how wise he/she is to convert a simple question to an interesting question.....(Of course...his/her witty reply would make the discussion/question lively).

it happened to me several times..I mean I was there answering to one of those simple questions (like yes or not question or not) and then I was caught by a sort of inspiration and started writing and writing..I think that sometimes these questions can help us to write freely and therefore we end up with beautiful answers and we are the first who are surprised!!!! it is just like saying...write whatever you like..sometimes this is awful because you seem hardly to find a thing to say..other times..this is the oppprtunity we were looking for.!!

I agree, I find myself answering freely to easy question….and I prefer easy question than long statement, when there is nothing to add..... My point is, some questions are so provoking...and are giving us an opportunity to answer with creative writing...:)
