'Yesterday, when i was in my friend's home having dinner, suddenly a big cockcroach was crawling on the floor,i was screaming loudly,my friend's boyfriend catched it with his bare hands at once,he even held its tentacles and shown us how the cockroach was struggling, finally,he chucked it away at the toilet cistern.' Are you afraid of cockcoaches?I reckon most of the women do and men seems not to be afriad of it. Do you leave it alive and let it run around because you simply do not afraid of it? Or do you kill it at once? do you kill it by your hands or spray the insecticides? Do you just throw it to the rubbish bins or do you wrap it up to make sure it will not escape in case you have not killed it? For me,I will use the vacuum cleaner to suck the cockroach it,i will never touch it by my hands. How about you? Do shares your thoughts:)+

Well whenever I see a cockroach crawling I feel very uncomfortable so what I do is I catch him with the help of a paper and throw him outside the house, but never kill him.

Oh,the lizard will eat the roach up,may be i have to ask my friend to keep some lizards at home. If you just leave them at the backyard and they are not eaten by the cats or crows, they will come back later, won;t they?

My first reaction would be to jump out of its way. I am afraid of cocroaches. One day it entered my inner ware and created havoc there. Another thing I hate is rats. They are night crawlers and are very dangerous. Another day one of them came a bit my skin from my leg and next day I got it trapped and as a revenge let it go in an open field. The crows had a feast.

Where I live only the smaller non-flying roaches exist. One time my aunt's neighbor invited me over to her house. Her sister was cooking on the stove and as I walked over to say hi to her, I noticed a roach on it's back next to the stove struggling to remove itself from the sticky tape on the counter! I had to suffer the tour of the house which consisted of roaches scattering when each light was turned on. I didn't stay long and once I left and was far enough away, I immediately started brushing myself off and checking for any little buggars that may have hitched a ride. If I ever see a roach in my home I will immediately kill it with whatever weapon is near and call an exterminator.

It is important to find a suitable weapon or it is hard to catch or kill it. I reckon bloom or shoes may not be enough to kill it when it is runnning quickly on the floor.

easy, cockroaches, spiders, centipedes etc. have no excuse. They are to be killed immiediately. There won't be enough time to go for insecticides and vaccum cleaner. They will be killed beaten by my slippers, or whatever I get. Not afraid of them at all.

I am the designated household exterminator. There was a time when I killed bugs by hand, but nowadays I usually use a paper towel for the sake of cleanliness. Oftentimes when I kill a bug, a small mess is left behind. I clean it right away with the same paper towel before throwing it away.

SO what did you feel when you try to crush a roach in your palm?

If they're just crawling on the floor I just generally let them be. It's the flying roaches that really freak me out. I get the nearest slipper I can put my hands on and give it a whack when they land.

Oh no, I wouldn't even dare touch the cockroach. I am not afraid of it though. When I see one, I will immediately get my broom and sweep it away from my house. Cockroaches lay eggs rather quickly. I do not like to see my house with lots of creature lurking around. My bunny is pretty helpful in catching those cockroaches for me too.

As i know, cockroach will lay 12 'babies'everytime during labouring, and i am not sure how many times they will have labouring in a year, and i cannot imagine how many cockroaches are producing their offsprings in their nest. I also know that the baby bunny may be scared of the big cockroaches, isn't it true?

Ewwwww! What a topic easy888! I am so scared of roaches, waterbugs and spiders that I run from them. I hate them! I don't have bugs in my apartment but use Combat as a preventive measure because some neighbors have roaches. When I moved into my apartment almost 14 years ago, my grandson's mother and I opened all the windows. A water bug got in the bathroom window. You should have seen us get out the door and bang on a neighbor's door. We asked for help and the amused man across the hall killed the bug and picked it up with toilet paper and deposited it in the wastebasket in the bathroom. I asked him to please put the tissue in the toilet so that I could flush and know that the bug could not come back. Years later the neighbor still asks me if I remember how we met and I still get embarrased. But, I am afraid of the bugs! Good question easy888, take care...

i will never touch it with my bare hands! ITS DIRTY!!! i mean, its been crawling everywher and holding it with bare hands is getting whatever germs and bacteria they're carrying!!! i have insect killer at home, so whenever i see them crawling around, i spray them with insecticide to kill them directly!

HI easy888! If anything scares me in the face of earth it's a cockcroach. The moment i see a cockcroach i try to kill it hook or crook. Since i have the pest control people visiting at intervals seeing a cockcroach at my house is very unlikely.

Where I live now there are no cockroaches believe me our city is cockroach free. Where I used to reside I had an apartment that was infested with them. I did what ever was necessary to rid them from my living space. I poisoned them, trampled them and tossed them into the toilet. I have no fear of them but since they do not help pay the rent they must go.

Well my roomate consist of two lizards, one with a broken tail cos the other one is the dominant one and some few cockroach.Dunno where they came from and i never thought of spraying them off. When am bored i stare at the cieling to see the lizard activities , when they fall i gently pick them up with my scale and let them climb the cieling again but, when i see a cockroach, there broke a hurrican in my room.I stomp at them, attack with whatever i have on my hand but mostly my toilet slippers came in handy.then silently drag them in one corner by their filler. The next morning before locking my room i can be surely satisfied that the lizards have their heavy meal!

It seems that the lizards are the biggest enemies of the cockroaches, may be it is better to use lizard than insecticides.lol.

Cockroaches are too annoying because they are omnivorous and they devastate almost everything they come across in our house. Though I’m not afraid of them I dare not touch them as their bodies always give a kind of nasty smell that I dislike most. Anyhow I’ll never kill them when I come upon any. Instead I just remove it by using a plastic bag and let go in somewhere outside my fence.

well easy i am not afraid of cockroaches, but i admit i hate them really, i am not going to touch them with my hands, except once or twice in my life, when i had to take out its mandibles during our bio class, usually i allow them to run, but if they try to enter my wardrobe, i have no choice to kill them with my slippers or broom, or i might use the insecticide.

Hi easy. Well I have always been strange. When little boys chased girls around the playground with bugs I wouldn't run. Instead i would ask to see it. I have always been fascinated with bugs. I would not be scared of roaches although I don't like them much. They are a pain and cause disease. But they will probably outlive all of us. I could tell you a lot about them but you probably don't want to hear lol. Have a nice day. :)
