Call me a dork but I don't care. I am so excited about Shrek 3 coming to movie theatres this weekend!!! My husband and I are planning on taking both of our kids to see it. The kids are so excited and can't wait to see it. And so am I. So I was wondering if anyone else is excited about seeing Shrek 3 also.

You are no dork at all, my friend! I have tickets to tomorrow night's premiere (Thursday night showing) and it's going to be awesome. My wife and I are going at 10 PM, we don't even have kids. We just love the fact that although it's animated there are a few adult jokes that we understand as well. It's going to be awesome!

I went to a Thursday night showing as well, and nobody in my party liked it. What did you think? We all thought it was an ok movie but they forgot the jokes. Nobody in our theater was laughing. And when we walked out it was quiet, nobody was talking about it either except my group who were saying that we didn't like it. My 7 year old stepson fell asleep and my 8 year old nephew kept asking it if was almost over. Sad to say it was not as good as the other two in my book.

You're not a dork at all! Lol I am very excited to see it as well! I really loved the first and second Shrek's, so I assume I will love the third. It sounds like you, your husband, and your kids will have a good time. I wish I could go see it, but I am always working! Lol I guess that's the story of my life. Anyways, I hope you guys have fun! I hope it's a good movie!

My kids just got done rewatching Shrek and Shrek 2 so that they would be "up to speed" for the new Shrek movie! LOL!!!! Normally, we don't go to the movies but wait until they hit blockbuster and rent them then. But for this one we are definitly going to see it at the movies. Sorry that you are working. I am just sure it is going to be great---all the premiers for it look like it is going to be a fun family movie!

you are not alone in feeling so excited about shrek 3! the first two movies were really funny, and i really enjoyed watching it with my friends! i believe that it is a fun movie suitable for anyone in any age group and i think that shrek 3 will certainly live up to all the hype surrounding it.

Count me in! I can't wait to go- We're planning on going to the Drive-In. Shrek the third and Night at the Museum are playing together! I cannot wait! Shrek so far has been my favorite kid movie- I should say family movie- It's going to be great! I can't wait to see the Babies! What a hit Shrek has been- So yes we are just as excited- Actually been counting down the days since we heard the release date- Weather might be cold but we're still going! Nothing beats the drive-in.

I too think Shrek is a hilariously great movie!!
"King for a day" sounds very exciting to me!! I will likely have to wait until it comes out on video but I do really want to see this one! :)

I am very excited about it! I have seen all the other movies and am very excited to see this one! I love it. The only problem is that we are broke and won't be able to see it this weekend! So phooey! My vet bill ate into our money this payday so, I will have to wait a couple of weeks with baited breath!
