No amount of persuasion will get a nine year old to take his green leafy vegetables. How can I include vegetables in his daily meals?

Let him help prepare the vegetables, then perhaps he will eat them. Look for new ways to use them. If all else fails, puree them and hide them in something, like spaghetti sauce. If all else fails, get him a good vitamin, and let him eat more fruits.

It is important that we take time talking with kids regarding health and the importance of nutrients. I believe they very smart this new generation depends on the world wide web, all we need is communicate to them. MOst kids are very obedient and very fast learners. I have a 4 year old niece at home, she hated veggies before. We explained the value of veggies, now she's into it. However my younger sister, now age 15 does it too. She hates veggies, but taking them one by one since she learn the value of nutrients in our body. There are things that most parents teach yet kids didn't see. Like we teach them but they dont actually see the parents taking them. Or it is easy for kids to follow with visual examples than hearing things. I think this is the usual.
