For the last two years, I have lived right next door to Burger King. This has been both a curse and a blessing. But when my money is low and I don't want what is in the kitchen, I can get a complete and filling meal at Burger King for $2.17. On the back of their receipts they advertise that you can get a free Whopper or Classic Chicken sandwhich for free with the purchase of fries and a drink, if you call and do a short guess satisfaction survey. There is an 800 number and this survey is automated. The basically ask you questions about you last visit and whether or not you will be visiting again in the next month. Some suveys are shorter than others, but none last more than ten minutes. After the survey is finished, they give you a validation code to write on the line provided and you take it there on your next visit. Sometimes the date is printed on the front and the offer expires a month after the date on the front of the receipt. How many people have taken advantage of this deal and what was your experience?

I didn't know about it. I will have to remember that the next time I get food from Burger King.

I've always seen the offer but I never thought of actually doing it. I'm always down for a Chicken Sandwich at Burge King, especially if its free! I do enough of these online surveys for a buck, I don't know if I could take another! I know other companies offer surveys too on their receipt, but usually its for an entry into some impossible-to-win jackpot.

Wow, I have never seen it. But we go to burger king sometimes so I'll have to check the next reciept. Wow $2.17! I think it usually costs me about $4-5 for a meal, blah! A free sandwich is always good though, so i'll have to check it out, thanks for sharing.

i do not eat a burger king ever...i don't know why, i just don't really like their food and I'm not sure where one near my house even is...it sounds like a lot of work to get a free whopper...they would be better off to have people fill out the survey at the store & then give them the free sandwhich...at any rate, if i happen to go to burger king on some strange whim, i will check it out!!

Actually, the survey is not that much trouble and it is a very good deal. But, it won't do you much good if you do not live near a Burger King.

I was aware of this, but have never tried it before. I will say that a whole meal a burger king for a measley 2.17 sounds great to me. Maybe I will do that soon.

I did not know about this until one day when we ran into my neighbors in Burger King. They made sure to let us know so that we would not toss our receipt in the trash without looking at the back of it, as we probably would have. We don't go to Burger King often since the nearest one is almost 40 miles away, but we would go often enough to make use of a free sandwich, or if not I could always pass it along to my daughter.
