new camera looking for a converter

good morning to all mylot friends. Ok well i didnt get a camcorder as i am not in the position to do all the investing i need and money spending to get my camera to work with the new hightech camcorders. So i went the little bit cheaper route and just got a new digital camera, and hoping my boyfriend buys the old one off me. Anyhow, here is my question this new Kodak camera records video in MOV format, i am looking for a free software program that will convert the MOV format to AVI,WMV formats to run on my computer. If anyone knows of any advice or where i can find the freeware of this software let me hear from you please.

Have you tried going to the Kodak site and seeing if there is info on it?

Check with your computer manufacturers website and check with the digicam manufacturers website. They often have downladabl;e software for converting files.
