This is just for fun. You don't even have to respond. [Of course, you never HAVE to respond. :-)] This site lets you see what song was number one in the U.S. on the day you were born. Mine was somewhat appropriate, since my dad was an alcholic! LOL "Moonlight Cocktail" Try it: http://www.joshhosler.biz/NumberOneInHistory/SelectMonth.htm

That's a pretty cool site there. It definitely amused me. I'll probably go back and plug in all kinds of date and see what the #1 songs were. For my birthday, the #1 song was "Endless Love". lol

I thought you might enjoy the interpretation of the song by George Bush and Tony Blair. For some reason it stops before finishing but even so, it is entertaining. Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtEH6wZXPA4

That is an interesting question. It was actually something I had never thought about before so I had to look it up. The #1 song on the charts the day I was born was Daydream Believer by The Monkees. Thanks for posting this topic. It was fun!

mee....not to worry I am twice your age +1 so you aren't alone....As for popcorn....just a little oil and a deep pan and you get the best over an electric plate or gas late.

In the world that I am in it is hard for mee to find people older than I am, but then again I am not around very many people, it just seems that all of the store clerks and such are all so young now a days. I actualy bought a bag of pop corn in the IGA Store the other day and the clerk actually asked mee "how do you pop that?" I could not believe it as I think that is a shame since to mee pan or hot air cooked popcorn is better than microwave. Anyways thank you for the reply and have a great day!!!

Being as old as I am I never believed that there would be on record a #1 song. However, following the link that you provided I found that on the day I was born the #1 song was "Alone", by Tommy Dorsey. ********************************************************* Alone, alone with a sky of romance above Alone, alone on a night that was meant for love There must be someone waiting who feels the way I do Whoever you are. Are you, are you alone? Alone on this night that we two could share? Alone, alone with your kiss that would make me care And when you come I'll promise to be your very own Alone, alone with a heart meant for you alone. **************************************************** I have to admit that I was a fan of Tommy Dorsey when I was growing up. We danced in highschool days to his music but I have to admit that I do not remember his particular one. Good posting. +
