I can't find nothing fearful in dark. I don't understand why you fear darkness. You have not explained your problem fully. If you could tell your reasons descriptively I think I can suggest something to you to love darkness. Dark is not the opposite of light; instead it is lightlessness only. Many beautiful things are there in dark. The moon, the stars shine. No need to be afraid of dark. I also don't understand why you are not waiting for more responses and mark the best one in 15 minutes!!! Of course the one you marked may be the best.

Hi Cathy, Hope you have gone to my responses to your other similar discussions too. Nothing to worry dear about dark. Every dark has an end in light. Dark has many positive meanings. Be a good girl and love both dark and light.

Hi cathieblogg, I am scared of the dark also. I couldnt stand sleeping in a totally dark room. I need a night light just to be able to sleep. If I am in a dark room, I feel suffocated and really terrified. Sometimes I will switch on the light and sleep in a bright room. Why do some people scared of the dark?

I don't know what it is..I think sometimes as a baby something could have really scared us..could have been a loud noise or someone trying to scare us for fun..

I was afraid of the dark somewhat as a kid because I thought that was the time when the monsters would come from under my bed, but now I'm no longer afraid of the dark.
