I believe in the possibility of alien life. I find it hard to think that the planet Earth is the only place in the universe with the correct conditions for life. Perhaps like sci fi books some may be silicon based rather than carbon based. I expect it could well be only minute forms of life but that would still count to me. I like to fantasise about larger aliens reaching earth but don't expect it will happen in my lifetime so I will never know. Like the 4400 was based on, what happens to all the suddenly missing people? I am not quite sure how it fits in with my thinking of God but we had to fit in evolution so I expect we can manage alien life.

I think that there is more.Like you, I believe that there could be life..scary to think what they might look like..or even eat for God's sake!..haha..but I also think that maybe God means for this planet..earth..to be for us..but, he probally has all kinds of things going..there is one preacher who thinks that "the bang theory" was when satan was cast to earth.that is when he thinks the dinasaurs went away..

I do believe there is life on ther planets, but I don't believe they come here all the time like the stories and rumors we hear. I mean, the universe is so big, and I think the probability of having other unknown types of lives is great. But why would they visit us so often? Are we that worthy? I don't think so! :D Cheers, sweetie!

Honestly, I don't really believe in Aliens, but it would be cool, and it does seem like a bit of a waste to have such a large and vast universe and only 1 planet with intelligent life on it. I bet there are probably some microorganisms or something out there. I read in a National Geographic that there are several recently discovered types of bacteria that can endure extreme heat and cold, so maybe they could survive on a planet that isn't too extreme.

I think so. Why should Earth be the unique planet with life in the whole infinite universe? I think there is no scientific explanation for this, so it is much more logic to think that there should be life out there. Furthermore, althought Earth life is based on whater, perhaps in other place life can develop from other natural-mineral components, such as nitrogen. I always look things also in the religious/philosophic point of view. If God is the Great Artist, why should God's art (life) be limited only to us? That is selfish and simplist, I think God can give us mysteries to discover for ever, and new beings to share the world with and try to understand, but perhaps we should start by understanding ourselves.

I think there is a possibility. I know there are some Christians who say, "no no never," but even though I believe that God created only the earth in this solar system to support life, who is to say that HE may have reserved other worlds in other galaxies with a worm hole between them so man can go and live on them. I mean it would take too long to travel and even if we had the equipment, by the time our great-great-great grandchildren arrived, they would have their culture based on space ship travel. It could be that we have cousins out there in other galaxies, but I do believe lots of the aliens we hear about are demons in disguise or those greys could be the results of years of inbreeding on a distance planet.
