Did Ben go back to using his cane after shooting Locke?

I was just positive Ben was not using his cane last week before he shot Locke, but last night (05/16/07) when he walked into the camp he was using a cane again.
Is it just me or am I remembering wrong?
I think Ben is really starting to go off the deep end mentally too. Kill everyone on the beach?! Yikes!

I remember him using the cane in the woods. Because I remember having the feeling that Ben was going to knock Locke over the head and into the grave with his cane. Then being shocked that he shot him instead. So he had it. Just maybe it wasn't visible in each scene.

I don't think he was using the cane when he and Locke visited Jacob. He was definitely back on the cane when he sends the raiding party to the Lost-ies. I think his healing isn't going so well because he betrayed Locke and the Island.

When they showed the recap last night after Grey's Anatomy, it showed the scene of Ben and Locke going into the cabin. Ben was using his cane but I think he left it at the doorway?
Yes, that was our stallion. He passed away about 3 years ago. Thank you!
