Experience on things you planned but didnt work out right....do you have one?

do you have experience that you planned a perfect date, or a perfe t travel or on what you want to happen in your lide in the future, or a picnic with your family and something bad happened..or its not the way you wanted it to happen? my cousin planned of a big birthday bash for her husband the other day! but when were all busy with the preparation, he son got bitten with a dog and we have to rush him to the hospital!!! whats sad is that,we went to the nearest atm machine to withdraw money, but theres some error and it did not dispense any cash!good thing i bought money with me and were able to bring her son to the hospital. a birthday party went out as disaster! what about you? do you have the same expereience? please share some..thanks! :)
