No, I was never offered a mirror to watch, however if they did offer I still wouldn't have used it. I tried to view as little as possible, because large amounts of blood make me feel faint, and I briefly looked down while pushing and saw a whole lot of blood. So I just looked at my hubby and around the room. I dont think the hospital I birth at offers mirrors, as I have had 2 kids there so far.

My room didn't have a mirror. I wish there was though. I really wanted to see the birth. My hospital was strict for some reason. We weren't allowed to take pictures or videotape anything in the labor room. I hope they let me for my next child's birth.

I had a difficult labor..I had an epidural many hours before, but 2 hours before pushing, my epidural ran out.I was in so much pain,my baby was huge and I felt everything..When the nurse asked if I wanted the mirror..I was terrified to see!I just creamed ,NO WAY!!!I am pregnant again but I think I will try this time with the mirror..and i will make sure my epidural won't ran out!

No, I didn't use any mirrors when my little one was born so I have absolutely no idea what was going on down there! But I don't have to worry cos' my husband was there to give me detailed description! LOL!!

I did not want to see. I love my child, but and completly grossed out about blood and all that junk. Plus, I was pushing so hard that I would not have even been paying attention.
