do you have a pure?

i have noticed that many people who play runescape have a pure account (or 2 lol). i personally have 4 accounts in total, one is my main melee based all rounder (lvl 116) a lvl 63 that is mainly mage, but has 46 att str and def too a lvl 37 that is mainly mage, but has high range also and a lvl 8 that actually is a pure prayer, i haven't worked on any combat skills at all aside from prayer, and all non combat skills are lower than the prayer lvl. do you guys have pures, if so what kind of pure do you have? and do you get a little bored of training your pure and consider going off track a little by doing other skills (which would ultimately ruin the pure status)?

I find pures pointless. I only have a limited amount of time to play so why bother splitting it up between several characters when I could spend all of it working & leveling 1? The only reason I could even think of for making a pure would be to capitalize on the wilderness level thing. It could make sense then to be really strong in the attack style your using without gaining levels from skills your not using which would allow higher level people to attack you. Since I don't pk thats not even a consideration.

i find having a pure helps me enjoy the game a little more, i love playing on my main character, but the exp gain needed for a next lvl sometimes makes me think "can't be bothered" so i play on my pure for about half an hour and i am back in full swing again lol. it's also nice to be able to walk through free to play without being bugged or begged, i find that my pure is a way of being able to go and interact with my non member friends "covertly".

I don't really worry about leveling my combat. It usually happens as I work on other skills. I also have a storehouse which I guess technically is a pure because I won't bother giving him anything expendable. He's just a delivery boy anyways.

I have so many pures I have forgotten many of their names and had to write down the ones I remembered. I have many pure mags, archers, and melees. I don't consider the accounts unpure if they are higher leveled in skills that don't affect their combat level. I enjoy them because it's a quick way to get some easy fun in the wildy without the potental of losing big in the wildy.
