Usually I respond to posts that interest me regardless of best response - although I confess that it has happened that I responded to anything sometimes when I was trying to get my earnings higher:) But in general it is the discussion that interests me and if I do have something I want to say then I answer even if best response was already given. Sometimes it's just a fun discussion and it's more like a conversation. I couldn't care less about best response,I"m having fun :) It sure is nice to get best response, but it's not the main idea and I don't think about it much when I answer:)

There are some people who start the discussion and as soon as they receive the 1st response, they give BR for it. So it does not matter if any one responds to a discussion topic irrespective whether it has received BR or not, as long as the mylotian has confidence that he/she can contribute some thoughts on the topic.

Hello ano, I still respond to threads even if it have best response marked already. I do hope though that the poster will give the others the chance to pitch in. I have a few friends who will award the best response within the hour. We all worked in different time zone and not everyone will be logged in at mylot actively. I normally wait for a month or until my threads stayed dormant before marking the best response. You'll be amazed to see that I have some posts that's 3 months old already and still, there are new responses everyday.

Why of course I do! I'm not really here for the money, mind you the money is a great perk of this site but I more or less just love the discussions. I love sharing my thoughts and ideas and opinions. Just because someone has already given a best response doesn't stop me!

Responding to a discussion even if has been chosen as best response, shows the intensity of interest and the eagerness to learn from here. I think most of us here, have come to learn, make friends and some to have a nice good time.

That depends. If it is a good friend, I'll respond to it anyway, if its something REALLY compelling. If the time between the discussion was started, & the day the best response was selected is at LEAST a month, & there were sufficient responses before the best response was selected, I might reply to it. I have seen where the discussion has only two responses, & the best response was selected only after a couple of hours. Being that we are paid when we log in for the responses we get to our discussions, discussions like that I will not respond to, as they're too hasty, & do not deserve to earn money from my response.

Yes i do post responses to discussions which carry the sign of best response because i feel that maybe i would be adding something which could be of help to the person who started the discussion.

Yes I do. I'm not in this to compete for best response. I'm in it to connect with other people and enjoy myself. Getting chosen as best response is nice but it isn't everything. If you have something to add to a discussion, say it whether you can get best response or not.

Of course I still respond. I am not out for the best responses, I just want to join in the discussion. Life is not a competition, and I don't have an ego. I just want to write it all down, and get it all out there.

If I found any discussion interesting I respond. There is nothing to do with best response selected or not. May be your response become the best response by the user who posted the discussion. So feel free to respond any topic which interests you and you have something to share on that.

I sure do. Especially if it's a discussion that I'm really interested in. Also, if it's one of a friends discussion. I just like talking to people here. Take care.

Yes, it doesn't matter to me if there's already a chosen best response. If a certain topic catches my interest, I will certainly respond to it. It's hard though to really contribute very thorough opinions and views about something. It's like you really have to dig deep inside of you and come out with something valuable to share.

I know you already chose the best response. But I still respond you now. Do you know why? Because I think your discussion is meaningful and I have something to speak:) Sure, no matter the best response is available or not, I will reply to it when I can share my point of views:)

Yes, i do. That's what i'm doing right now. It does'nt matter to me whether the user has chosen the BR or not. I don't respond to the discussions with the intention of bagging "best response". I don't think it is the right way to go about. It would hinder us from expressing our actual feelings and we start thinking in a way so as to impress the discussion starter. That becomes more of a bussiness-minded person's attitude, it won't be friendship anymore. I look at the subject first, if there's something i can relate to, then i go into the details. If there's something of a substance(i mean if i could add atleast a few lines) in the discussion, then i will choose it to respond. I don't wish to entertain one-liners. In majority of the discussions i've responded so far, the user had chose the best response. well, that's just my opinion. I can't enforce others to follow my method, because people have their own reasons for joining this site. Welcome, and thank you too:)

hey ILUVU thats so thoughtful the way you express your thoughts is really amazing and yes the reason i asked this question is just to find out how people feel about it and i so happy to see so many stopping by to express their views and thought long after the BR was chosen :)

Yes, I do respond to them. I want to post my opinion and I want to express what I felt even if the user already choose the best response.
