Shrek the third

Well, the roomie & I just went to see the new Shrek movie. I really enjoyed it, but I've enjoyed the other 2 as well. We both needed a distraction, while in the movie I could forget my cold & she could forget her pain & we could just enjoy the movie. I had to tell her what a few things were because of her vision for example, she didn't realize that the baby dragons were actually baby donkey dragons. I don't know if this is the best one yet, but so far they have all been very good, very enjoyable with enough adult stuff for us & plenty of kid stuff for the kids. So, if a couple of fat broads could enjoy this movie (granted we are SF/F fans) you probably will too.

Thanks for the review. I have seen the first two also and look forward to seeing this new one. I have always liked Donkey. He is my favorite character in the Shrek movies.

I have often thought that it would be cool to wear a cape. Especially since you don't see people wearing a cape very much nowadays.

Our fav is Puss, but we love Antonio Banderas anyway - from Zorro. Well, I have a soft spot in my head for Zorro ANYWAY! Goes all the way back to when Disney had Zorro on TV. Then again, I've always had a thing for capes!

I can't wait to see this movie! I have been a Shrek fan since viewing the first. My grandkids want to see it too. But, even if they don't go along with us, we will see it on our own.

WE still haven't seen the movie. It was playing at the drive-ins tonight and hubby didn't feel it was necessary to spend the extra cash to see it. Guess I will have to wait for it to come out on DVD.

I can't wait to see that! I don' think it is even out here ye but my husband was just talking about going to see Pirates of the Carribean 3 and I would much rather see the new Shrek if it is playing. We usually get our movis well after you do, though.

I like the 1st and 2nd part much than the 3rd part..awaiting to watch the 4th. This is my favorite movie.

Oh, I would agree that the first two were BETTER than the 3rd one, but I loved Puss saying good bye and kissing the other cat's paws - and then when he tried to do the poor kitty look while in Donkey's body

I'm a fan of the first two Shrek movies. I want to see the latest one but the price at the movie theaters can be so high. Looks like I'll be waiting for the DVD. Thanks for the review though. Glad you had a good time!

I took my daughter to the drive-in on firday night to see Shrek the third- OMG-- It was so great! We both loved it- We even sat outside under 4 blankets to see it on the big screen- I love Shrek- He is so funny! Fiona and her mom were blasts- Her mom knocking down the walls with her head! how cute- Donkey is hilarious- I won't go into many details- as not to spoil it for people - but I loved it as much as my daughter!
