On a very hot days..do you prefer the pool or the beach??

I know that here in israel we have some hot days, that all i can think of is ice water, to jump into.
But i usually can not make up my mind, whether i want to go to the pool or to the beach.
I usually end up going to the beach, with all of the sand stuck everywhere, and think that i did a big mistake, and should have gone to the pool.
What do you prefer on a very hot day the beach or the pool?

Given the choice... I would like to go to a beach. Beach has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is natural...with unlimited area ... but having saline water. I think getting drenched at a beach is more enjoyable than going into a pool.

I don't do either. But if I want to chill myself during a hot summer day, I'd usualy go to a river or a spring to bath...
In the Golan hights there are wonderful places for that... This way, you get to be in nature and skip the sand problem... ;)

I prefer the pool. Mostly becasue the ocean scares me. I almost drowned in the sea just 3 years ago, and after that I have had a big problem with the beach. In the pool I feel safer =)

I love the pool and the beach but I prefer a pool. A very good resort will make me feel comfortable. I haven't seen a lot of good beaches so I guess I prefer the pool. But my boyfriend prefers to be in the open sea. The water is so cold and relaxing.

I would like to travel after college. I'd probably bring my boyfriend in Israel. He loves the beach. What's wrong with your sand?

Well you should come to israel, we have a great beach here, and the water is not that cold, in the summer it seems like everyone are there more then in their own house.
It usually goes like this: you go straight from work to the beach, the only problem is the sand.

The ocean by far. Not only do you get the lovely cool down from the water, but you also get that awesome salty air and the sound of the waves...... I guess you could play a recording of waves to try to simulate the same effect, but I think I would rather just go.

Hi Liran,
You are lucky,you have choice.But the place i live in doesn't have sea nearby.so i have to be contented with the swimming pool of our society.That is one reason i look forward to going on holidays to places near sea,so that i could enjoy the beaches.Oooooooh!!Since I was a little kid I loved beaches.Its still the same.lol.

My answer is beach, evening, the breezes and moonlight with sounds of waves and the touch of silence!
Well, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, INDIA is very hot right now! So I am really far away from sea shore and beach! but my answer is BEACH!

When I was very young I wouldn't go into the ocean. Then the next year, you couldn't get me out of the ocean.Years later I had a pool. I liked it better. Now I don't swim.But I do like sitting opn the beach.When it is hot, you will find me in the air conditioning.

Hello,liranlgo,I like hot summer,i love sunlight and i will always go to the beach to have sunbathing in the summer,i will also jump into the water to let myself cool down a bit. I can also check up the hot guys wearing the swimming trunks at the beach:P,no one will know where my eyes are looking at as I am wearing sunglasses.

I just prefer to be next to a beatiful girl it doesn't matter where:) If you ask me it's not so important where you are I mean on the beach or the pool. The important thing is your crowd, you know your friends. When you are with your best friends it doesn't matter!

Can't do either one on most days. No pool and don't live close enough to the beach for a daily trip.
But, a nice cool shower does the trick.
You come out feeling all fresh and brand new.
If I could do one or the other, though I'd pick the pool. Even though I love the beach, the waters not all that great or clean.
I'm better off sticking to good old chlorinated fun!

On a very hot days, I prefer both actually the pool and the beach.:-) It depends actually on distance if we don't want to travel far we just head on down the pool resorts and spend a day there. If we have more time we go to the beach. Its nice to swim and just stay on the water during a hot summer's day.:-)
