How Achilles was killed with an arrow in foot? seems unjustified. can a man be killed hitting an arrow in his foot ? well... there is a legend about Achilles Birth. At his birth his mother fully dipped him in holy water holding from his feet to make him Strong. The whole body was dipped but the feet remained. So feet was the only weak spot and the most sensitive spot in Achilles body. So when Paris unknowingly arrowed his feet, he died. Friends have you ever come through this legend. plz discuss in this thread ?

Achilles was educated by the wise centaur Cheiron and was described as extremely handsome but also very emotional. He was almost immortal since his mother had dipped him into the river Styx as a baby. Holding the child by its heel when putting it in the water, Thetis made Achilles' whole body except the heel immortal.... NOW IF U BELIEVED THAT PUTTIN ACHILLES IN THE RIVER STYX WOULD MAKE HIM IMMORTAL...U GOTTA BELIEVE THAT HITTING HIM IN THE ONLY WEAK SPOT WOULD KILL HIM...cause i don believe that any man kind could be immortal :D

when achilles was dipped into the river styx, his mother held him through his ankle, that's why that part of his body is invulnerable. but no one knows this except him and his mother, and some gods. the reason why paris was able to know his secret, is because apollo told him so. so he took a poisoned arrow, and shot achilles on his ankle. the arrows that shot his body didn't do him any harm. it was the poisoned arrow that hit his ankle.

Achilles was dipped into the river styx to make him invulnerable, but it was known that should he go to troy he would die. One of the common myths is that the arrow used to kill achilles was poisoned and had to hit that one week spot. Some versions have the arrow fired by Paris, others by cassandra who was said to be his twin sister and a priestess of apollo. Apollo is supposed to have guided the shot.

yeah i knew abt this myth, and it seems justified from mythlogy point of view.. although it seems improbable in real life scenario.

i was just thinking about a poisoned arrow. for so many years and so many battles and stories that i have read and told to, poison has been the famous hero killers.
