if ever you're rich... will you avoid and ignore poor people?

Most rich people don't want to mingle with poor people because they thought poor people are dirty, they don't have manners, and most importantly, they don't have money! If ever you're rich... will you do the same? Will you avoid and ignore unfortunate people? The most honest response will be the best response. LOL! Well me... NO! It's been my dream to help poor people especially those children who didn't have the chance to go to school. Helping someone with their life is probably the greatest thing that I'll be contributing in this world. Please pray for me to achieve that. Thanks! :) - Ron Reyes www.ronreyes.co.nr

no,i wouldn't. i've had times when i needed help too-and those agencies would be among the first to get donations from me.then i'd pick a few more to give to.

I think it's better if you give your donations yourself because it really feels great when you see the smiles and joy of the people you helped. Their happiness is far more greater than any treasure there is! :)

Poor people are bigger at heart. I do mingle with them and dine with them their simple delicacies, their hospitality, kindness, serving without any expectation, are worth mentioning good manners. I converse with them to findout their problems. I contribute in cah or kind to solve their problems.

You have a great and noble dream and I wish for it to come true! And so it shall, tinggg!!! I'm a fairy godmother don't you know? :D Kidding aside, just like you, I have a soft spot in my heart for the poor. I have both of my feet flat on the ground and I can say with utmost certainty that I will never change my relationship with them or how I see and deal with them. I even became a member of a radical group back in college, to fight for the rights of the poor people in our country. But I figured that I can help in realistic and more constructive ways than rallying on the streets and lambasting the government for its incompetence. Like helping the church feed the indigent families of the community, or supporting charitable institutions that send out poor children to school. There are actually a lot of ways we can make a difference in their lives.

Yes my dear friend, that's exactly what rich men do. They see poor people as animals without use. Some don't even care to think if poor people exist at all. Its very bad you know. If am rich by the grace of God, I will never abandone the poor ones, cos it has always been a priority helping poor people. I don't like seing people suffering, I feel bad. May God help you to be a rich person, not only to help yourself, but also the poor in Jesus name (Amen).

well, pal; personally, i grown up in a poor family and trying to eradicate pooverty in my life and my family therefore, i will find it difficult to hate poor ones out there. i only beleive its only those whom were bone with a sliver's spoon in mouth that will see poor fellow as a rag, if not; one thereby mush have pass form one stage to the other before getting rich. i will thereby help the poor ones to make them more better.

You´ve set yourself a great goal which I sincerely hope you will achieve. Helping people in need is a very rewarding task. To answer your initial question: no I would not avoid and ignore them. I would help as much as possible and we all know that being rich gives you a lot of options to do so. I value people for their personality, talent, willpower, but never for their money. Some rich people don´t have manners, the difference between them and the poor is that the wealthy can get away with it, because most people don´t dare to criticize them for it. I would ignore and avoid evil people, but not the poor just because they don´t have any money.

I would actually hire someone to deal with the poor people in my life so that I could avoid all contact...JOKING!! It's amazing to me how many wealthy people forget where they came from and how they had to struggle. I would hope that I'd never lose that perspective even if I was fabulously wealthy

I wouldn't as I would be a hypocrite if I did as to a lot of rich people, I might be considered poor, so if I manged to get rich and if I gnored the so called poor people it would be like ignoring who I was. No I'm not homeless or anything, but in the eyes of a rich person a lot of the times if you aren't rich you must be poor and no in betweens... I wouldn't ignore to as you never know when you can loose your fortune and maybe end up in a worse spot then the poorest person you know. I'd try to help where I could, maybe help some people that weren't as lucky as I was if I indeed had the resources for it....

I'm not rich now, but I do have friends who don't have as much material assets as I do. I also have a few friends who I would consider to be rich. I don't think income matters as much as character and personality, as far as friends go. I do donate to reputable charities, and the more money I have, the more I'll donate.

You see Ron, I'm not rich, I'll probably never be rich but.. If I was I wouldn't change much about myself. I would still live in the country. I would still have the same friends but man, birthdays and christmases would be super fun, wouldn't they! Why would I change who I was just because I have a few extra dollars in my pocket? I know some rich people that are nice and kind. I don't think it is money that makes us different. It is all in how we are raised. I know poor people that think they are better than me. But I don't care let people think what they want. I know what matters to me. But in answer to your questions Ron, no, being rich wouldn't make me a snob.

NEVER!!! I always want to help people, but can't afford myself right now, so I have to hold off on helping others, financially any ways. I do help in other ways, by donating my time, and items that I don't want/need. There are so many people that need help and it irks me that so many rich people don't help out........guess that's why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer as the saying goes. I've already decided that the only way I'll ever be rich is to change my name to Rich!!! Though it would be weird to be female and named Rich!

oh, i'd defintly be nice to people if i evr get rich. i mean if my friends dumped me, or someone thought i was dirt just cause i wasn't rich i wouldn't be too pleased. With 10 in my family i ain't loaded, i ain't poor either, and i no that some people need more help then others and i'm not one of them. So it's only right to help those who do need the help.

No I would not ignore poor people if they were poor and I was rich.I think no one is much different than the other person .People should not be treated any less because they dont have much money. If the gas prices were not so high and the food being high and taxes on food in certain states on food ,ect.then it might not be so hard on people but it is because the harder people work every year it seems someting goese up in price. If I had lots of money I would donated to the poor and help them out and also I donate clothes and toys that my kids do not play with anymore. It is sad how society is and looks upon people badly just because they do not have much money.Instead of looking upon the people badly why not help someone out.But some are greedy. Some famous people are greedy becuase they buy expensive dresses, jewelry, ect. and the could have donated half of the money and bought something nice but looked similar to the high priced item they bought and not spent a ridiculous price on the item.

no, if i were rich i would never turn my back on the less fortunate although my first moves would be to make a home for abused women n children, give there somewhere to live, somewhere to protect them, somewhere to nurture there needs, and if need be a place to grow up, and to also for the ones still in school help them to get into college to better themselves after high school, and i would have it under my name. For the less fortunate i always see homes that need to be worked on, fixed up and i would love to give people the money to make their homes a better place to live to give them vehicles to get them where they need to be, to provide them with groceries to keep them fed and pay bills to keep them clean and warm, to make their lives as good as mine and for them to be truly appreciative i would ask is that for them not to thank me but to thank the lord for giving us the chance of coming together and helping one another in need!

of course not, that's just stupid.. i also dreamt of helping people. like renting a car (or maybe buy one because i'm rich) and pick up street children and poor people in the streets. then i'm going to let them live in a building, with all their food and other bills paid for. i'm going to enroll all those children in the public school and have their parents work for me so they'll have a job. this seems like a very imaginative dream, difficult to attain so i think i'll just donate some money to organizations.
