I have seen few discussions where some members wrote that they joined mylot because they enjoy the community. They did not join to earn money. Is that true?I joined mylot to earn few extra money. Also I made few friends here. What about you? Will you still continue here in mylot if tomorrow mylot declares that they are no longer paid forum? Are you going to post discussion here?

Hello, manvik,i joined and stayed mylot because it is fun,i like to meet more friends here and learn more things.Money may be part of the motivation, but to say I am here only for money is not correct as 20 dollars a month is nothing in my country,i will not be richer anyway, but the payment is a kind of satisfaction. If mylot were a non paid forum tomorrow,I would be here tomorrow, but I could not say i would be so active or not since my concentration might be diluted abit as i lost the goal and i might not satisfied when posting and replying. Good luck.

I agree that some peoples have joined here just to earns few bucks which is not bad,at least my lot is helping others this way.But I really like this place as a place where I can share my thoughts and my emotions. So many times my lot has helped me ease my frustration,if I was in bad mood I just come here and take part in discussion and I feels better.I do not exactly sees this as a home job, actually they are not paying that much that you could consider it as a job,but yes before joining here I was very curious if internet money making schemes does really pays or not.But now I found out they really do which is not bad.I do not see it as a work,it is a hobby which pays you.

Probably everyone is attracted to Mylot by the idea of earning while chatting to others, I know I was. But you don't actually get paid that much - I've earned less than $13 since I've been here, about 5 months lol. Although I don't creat many posts and don't reply a often as others, so I don't know what others are earning but I don't think it can be a home job. So now tt's more about the volume of visitors and the range of oppinions.

Yes I would still post here if they did not pay. I really love it here and I have a great group of friends. The money that I make here helps pay part of my internet bill but the money is not inportant. I join here to make new friends and meet new people. also I am in a few other forums on the internet that dont pay and I enjoy them just as much.

In answer to your questions. I am one of those who joined not for the money but for the conversations. I work with teenagers and have a young son. Sometimes coming onto mylot is the only adult conversation I get in a day. Will I continue here if they discontinue paying us? Yes I will because I have found a lot of good discussions here that stimulate my mind.

Hi! I am new here. I joined mylot because I do need some money to help me out, but not in the sense that I will rely on mylot. I just tried this and I am not even sure if I will earn or not. But since I started posting I think it's great that I can gain friends her and also express what is inside me. To me it is a relief or rather a great feeling to share your thoughts in mylot. Good day!

In a way, I see Mylot as part of my jobs that I do online every day. I have been earning online for about 3 or 4 years and I just found Mylot in January and added them to my list of websites that I earn from daily. I was referred to Mylot for the earning potential here. I have gained alot of online friends here also that I was not aware of before joining, which is very nice also. I'm not sure if I will still be in Mylot as often or ever if they decide to be a nonpaying forum because I am limited for time online and I have to get my earnings to help my family out. I may post a discussion here very so often if I have the chance or the time though.

To be honest, initially I came here because my friend told me this was a site you could earn, and it aroused my interest to come to have a look. In the first few weeks I felt frustrated now and again to see the earnings so little and climbed so slow, and sometimes even deducted without knowing the reaon. Late, I readjusted my state of mind and realized this was not the place to make real money, and I started to have a few friends here which replaced the importance of earnings. Now I enjoy talking here more than the earning itself.

No, not for a home job. But the time I joined, I thought of it. When I realized that it's not meant to be a home job, I tried enjoying it. Now, I'm enjoying it. It has helped me a lot, I now have a typing speed of 61WPM (words/minute) without a single typo.

I joined because I read that this is a place to make some money. That definately enticed me. But now I wonder how much am I supposed to post to make something decent. I've only made 8 cents so far so I wonder how long it's gonna take for me to make that $10 payout. Sounds like I'd have to be here posting night and day for that.

Hi thanks for the reply.Actually your earnings will depend on the quality of your postings. It is the quality that matters not the quantity.I know some members are really doing hard here and reached the minimum payout in one to two weeks with less than 250 discussions in their credit.Unbelievable!!!! And still there are some members whose are earnings are less than 5 USD though they have more than 500+ discussions. The only thing you have to do is work hard to post some quality discussions and you will see the difference.By the way a warm welcome to mylot.:)

I joined for something to do, and some extra Christmas money. I already make money writing web content from home, and while I can always use more money, MyLot is more of an "I'm bored, so why not chat a bit and make some pennies doing it" type of thing. If they decide not to pay anymore, and if that happens soon, I won't post anymore, because I haven't been here long enough to know anyone very well, and I'm in a few other online communities that I've been with for longer. If I've been here a while and have some friends, I would probably stay.

That depends on the myLot member's country. For me, I'd have to post faster than I can touch-type for myLot to come anywhere near replacing my day job... ie. for the time and effort, any earnings, if any, I might make from myLot will make very little financial significance for me to consider myLotting a home job. However, for myLot members in countries that have a low USD$ minimum wage, the earnings they make will make a big difference and every post counts. Of course, to avoid flooding myLot with posts that are posted just to be posting, the "payrate" (if we can call it pay) should be set proportionally ie. pay schedule based on country, so that everyone will be making relatively the same amount of effort to earn from myLot...

Hi, thanks for the reply.I liked the way you explained.I think if the pay schedule is based on country it would be difficult for mylot to calculate the earnings of each and every members. It is possible if mylot expands its business and opens networks in every countries. Thanks again for the reply.:)

No.Not for money. Not as a home job.As a job you get very less.It has become a habit.A beautiful place to meet different kind of people of all mental level and to see what all people can ask and write to get that extra dollars. That's what makes mylot interesting for me.

I enjoy answering questions myself and I enjoy Yahoo Answers as well, but here at myLot, I tend to get here first and just enjoy doing the questions and so forth; do I consider it a home job? yes, to an extent. Would I still be here if it was a non paid forum? yes because no matter what, I love putting in my two cents worth.

Hi,manvik!! Personally,I think Mylot.com is a good home job. What I need is just the Internet and a computer or a notebook. That's enough.I can post responses to my friend's discussions and share my opinion with them.I can make more foreign friends online and communicate with them.Mylotters can visit my homepage and send messages to me.That an ideal job with good money.

I am afraid that I have never seen mylot as a home job. Because the earnings we are given for our responses and discussions are far from what we can get from our full-time job. I don't take it as a home job, but I love to use this website to chat with my friends and to share my views with them. You know, we will never earn much here. But I feel happy to see my earnings getting higher. To me, it shows how many discussions I have joined in. I think I will continue to use mylot even if we are not paid. I love this website which provides us a very good chance to make friends with so many people and to exchange our ideas.
