mylots gone too far! fifty where are you?

I'm not a moaning type (i'm english and thus eternally optomistic to the point of disappointment) but today i have to moan on the behalf of someone who can't.
I logged onto mylot this evening and strangely noticed that my points had dropped by over 100! i tried to work out why and noticed that someone was missing from a lot of my discussions, someone who was there yesterday. It appears that all the responses from itsreallymefifty have been deleted, many of you may know her because she always did good discussions and full responses, so why would such a person be deleted? I know that some people on her had a bit of a vendetta against her over some pointless argument but it seemed to have died away.
So friends i bid thee to send a message to mylot demaning that they reinstate our friend fifty, are you with me? and does anyone have any idea why she would get chucked off in the first place?

Im with you, I had this happen as well. I'm now missing responses from 3 of my friends.....and these are not people who put one word answers, or start meaningless discussions. What is mylot doing???

Oh dear, i really don't like the sound of this. Has the person in question had their whole account deleted, or just all of their discussions? If so, and if they were a good poster, then it could happen to anyone, ie even me, and i've put far too much time and effort into being on here to take having my own account deleted lightly, plus i currently have a decent sum of earnings that i would rather like to be claiming at the end of the month! Also, even if i didn't have my own account deleted, i have a lot of friends on here and would not want to see any of them be deleted as many have high ratings.

This is whats stupid, she was one of the best people i had come across because she would always give detailed respoinses and whenever you responded to one of her discussions she would always respond back. She had about 1500 points but now everything has been deleted. I can't work out why because i would respond to pretty much all of her discussions which were mostly about her buying a new house and selling her current one (hardly things worth deleting you for)

Mylot only deletes whole accounts when they have a real good reason. It could very well be something going on that you are not aware of.

I'm gonna risk it and say some users can't handle the truth! I won't say more because i am not prepared for a good fight just yet! I value my friends on mylot, but i don't have emails or any other way to keep in touch with them. If i get deleted from mylot it will be because i couldn't stay quiet and the time was right!

Yes I know her and I remember her to have good discussions and responses. I have been absent from mylot for sometime and now that you've mentioned it, I miss her responses. Hope she gets reinstated.

I've seen this user responding to your posts several times, but I don't know what happened to her account. My post counts are alwyas down 4 to 8 every month close to payment time. The last time I lost 17 points and still up to today I lost 1 to 3 on average or sometimes I don't lose anything. One of my friends has lost 800 posts and she returned to zero now. Plus there is another person here losing 3000 points but he found out why and who.
I hope this user's account can be reinstated, unless someone reported her then it will be difficult I think.

Hello,smuggeridge,itsreallymefifty is not on my friendlist but i can remember some of its discussions and I do not know why it is deleted.I do not think it has violated discussion rules.
We may have to know the reason why it has be removed first if you really want to reinstate it,we need a strong reason to convince mylot.
Anyway,Good luck.I will keep an eye on this issue.

I'm really sorry to hear that. itsreallymefifty wasn't on my friends list but we often ended up participating in the same discussions and her responses were great. I'm not that surprised though because I'm aware of some of the problems she's been having on here for some time now. I don't believe for a moment she's genuinely done something wrong but, as the saying goes, throw enough cr@p at someone and eventually some of it will stick. Too many good myLotters have gone now - it's a real shame. I don't think it will make much difference but I'll contact myLot about it anyway.

Ok when I'm wrong I admit it! I've seen the evidence on another discussion thread so I understand now why she was banned and I can see why myLot did it. I'm still sorry that she's not here though because I did enjoy her posts but it seems like she just got too carried away with all the drama on here. Very unfortunate.

I guess you have it figured out. I hope that we can get past this all and make some show of peace on here. I doubt she would come back if she was begged to by every person on here. And we know that is not going to happen, so I am just trying to get past it and go on with my life. I am still her friend and I stand behind her, but I want every thing on here to settle down. I know of several people that have left and some of them were just starting out and feel that there is to much bullying on here, and went else where.

I'm afraid I don't know this particular user, but I have noticed perfectly fine discussions just disappearing for no good reason at all. I can remember that they weren't fantastic, but I'm sure they broke none of the policies so I still don't understand why they were deleted.

Gee, I kind of noticed she wasnt around today. Why would anyone want to have her deleted? She seemed like such a friendy girl. With all thats going on around here it kind of seems we should be playing taps for Mylot itself. With everything it seems to be doing to such seemingly nice people. I've heard about 2 or 3 people losing all of there points, and now Fiftys been deleted. It sure would be nice to get some kind of explanation from Mylot as to why some of the morons on here can post crap and they do this kind of thing to the ones that have been here supporting them for quite a while? I just dont understand this crap. It dosent make any sence to me at all. Thanks, Terry

All i can say is she got banned. I will not say more here for fear of being banned myself. I can tell you that she is a wonderful person and she has many friends. I cant figure out the REAL reason why but I think its something to do with someone who didn't like her.

Do you think it is that easy? So you say someone can simply not like someone and tell mylot to delete them?
I sincerely doubt that would work. I think it is safe to say that Mylot only deletes accounts when they feel there is a real good reason. I HIGHLY doubt Mylot would just follow what people would say alone without any real proof or their own discoveries.

People can put up a nice front and not show their true face very easily online.
She did openly threaten to have peoples computers hacked, not sure if you would call that good.
People don't get banned, because someone doesn't like them, because in that case half of mylot would be banned by now.

Well, I hope it doesnot happen to me. As much as possible I try to follow the rules and regulations of mylot for my own sake. I know that mylot is a very fair site and I dont believe people get deleted or banned from mylot for nothing. What ever the reason of the deletion of the account your friend was warned about he issue. I hope you friend can tell you why this hapened. its always a possiblity that we get affected if one of our friends get deleted its like a domino effect.

I'm sorry. I don't know fifty, but she sounds nice. I think I may of seen a couple of her posts, but I'm not sure.
I just wanted to add that everyone here should take this time to reread mylot's TOS. Whatever the case may be, it's up to mylot; not us. I'm sorry.

Hello smuggeridge. I was astounded when I saw fifty's name here. 2 days ago, I responded to her discussion and indeed, there was a poster there who was rude. Fifty told me that she had gotten into some sort of argument with this poster before but had apologized. I think this poster was responsible for fifty's sudden termination. Mylot should know that this poster had more than one account.
Fifty is not on my list of friend but we respect each other. I am also losing points everyday. As a matter of fact, when I logged in a while ago, I can't help but laughed to see more points deducted. I will mail mylot to appeal for fifty. It is not fair to have her terminated like that.
